To ensure a safe and happy experience for all our furry guests, we've established a few simple booking policies: Health and Safety: For the well-being of all pets in our care, we require all visiting dogs to be up-to-date on their vaccinations. We also require all dogs to be on a flea preventative, even during the winter months. Fleas can survive outdoors in temperatures as low as 33 degrees for up to five days, and we want to ensure everyone stays comfortable. If your dog has sensitivities to flea preventatives, please let us know so we can discuss alternative options. Leash Policy: For everyone's safety, please keep your dog on a leash when arriving and until they are safely inside our fenced yard. Drop-Off Times: To ensure a smooth and unhurried drop-off experience, we kindly request that drop-offs be scheduled after 9:00 am, unless prior arrangements have been made. Mornings are typically busy with feeding and care routines. Pick-Up and Drop-Off Time Adherence: We ask that you arrive within 15 minutes of your scheduled pick-up and drop-off times. Late arrivals exceeding 30 minutes may require rescheduling. We understand that travel plans can change, so please communicate any adjustments as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate. Scheduled Pick-Up and Drop-Off: Pre-scheduling pick-up and drop-off times is essential for ensuring a smooth transition and having your pet's belongings ready. Overnight Fees and Late Pick-Up Charges: Our overnight fee covers a 24-hour period. Late pick-ups will incur the following charges: 2-8 hours late: 50% of the overnight fee 8+ hours late: 100% of the overnight fee Aggression Policy: For the safety of our family, including our 8-year-old daughter, we cannot accept pets with aggression issues. Social Media Sharing: We share photos and videos of our furry guests on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. If you prefer that your pet not be included, please let us know, and we will happily respect your wishes. Thank you for choosing us for your pet's staycation! Our home in Commerce Lake offers a safe and quiet neighborhood, perfect for walks with your furry friend. We work from home and homeschool our daughter, so your pet will receive lots of love and attention. Our daughter is a huge dog lover and enjoys playing in our fenced backyard with our canine visitors. We typically care for one or two dogs at a time, occasionally up to four or five during holidays.
