I work part time as a dog walker. It's my passion. I am working in making pet care my primary business. Rover provides me the option to have an easy payment and scheduler. I get a lot of my clients through referrals. I have 2 partners who help with repeat clients who are comfortable with them to allow me the option of taking on more clients.

I can provide group walks/play or one on one time. If I'm house/dog sitting, I always leave it cleaner then when I found it. I follow the pets behavior and feed off it and make plans around them accordingly. Sometimes that means a low key visit making sure they potty and we bond or if they're up for it we take a nice nature hike. It all depends on you and how they feel. I want all pets to be confident and trust me

Information Sarah M. would like to know about your pet
I have a weak spot for small fluffy dogs. Pomeranians (although yappy) and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are my favorite. I also love dachshunds. But I am never biased and open to big lap lovers like retrievers and Mastiffs! My biggest concern is a dogs behavior. Are there any unique personality traits that I should know about before talking care of your pup?
A typical day
I love going out and exploring, nature and parks go hand in hand with me! I love seeing how engaged the dogs can get, so I always try to test to see what tricks and manners they know! If your dog is up for it, I like to offer some more engaging learning/walking like seeking treats and toys!

Pet care experience
I have been around animals since I was 7 years old. I attended Norfolk County Agricultural high school and majored in Animal Science and took up a concentration of Canine Science. Right now I am currently working on my own business part-time as my long term goal is opening my own Dog Grooming Salon, self serve dog wash, boarding and Daycare! I also work part-time right now as a Dog Groomer( I can provide this service as well! let me know). I love making dogs squeaky clean and looking their best! My experience in dog grooming has taught me how much patience and care you need to take into account when working with dogs. They do not speak our language so we need to take cues from them and able to read their body language. I want to fulfill my other time working with dogs, but I also wanted to be my own boss. So, I decided to start dog walking and sitting. I see the enjoyment dogs get from going on an adventure and getting exercise and being walked and I want to bring the joy to other dogs! I view working with and being around dogs as more of a passion then a job.

Sarah did amazing with all her care for my animals! They were all very calm when we got back home and very comfortable!
Sarah was amazing with our dog Murphy, who is a 2 yo bullmastiff/boxer. She was always on time and spent a lot of time with him. We would highly recommend Sarah with your pets. She gave us daily updates and sent us pics. Murphy still misses her. We will definitely ask Sarah to watch Murphy again! Murphy is a high energy dog but very lovable, Sarah will be amazing with all pets We can’t thank her enough !
This was my first time with Sarah. Sarah was very quick to respond and schedule our meet and greet. She did a great job with Bentley during a drop in visit.
