I'm a Certified Professional Pet Sitter, I'm pet cpr certified, and I am insured! When I was five years old, my family moved into a house that came with a dog. Yes, that’s right––there was a garage, two bathrooms, and a senior poodle mix named Noodle––the sweetest guy! My mom had agreed to care for him while we lived there, and long story short, we became fast friends. Best friends, in fact. But I also learned at a very young age that dogs are not stuffed animals or just playthings to be discarded when I got tired or bored. I learned unconditional love is a two-way street, and that being blessed with pets in one’s life also meant responsibility, respect, and certain sacrifices. I've had pets of all kinds in my life, and have been pet-sitting for close to 24 years. I worked at Petsmart for two years and that really expanded my appreciation of animals as an adult. I've had dogs, cats, mice, rats, snakes, lizards, turtles, and fish. At one point I had four dogs and four cats! Currently, I have two dogs and a leopard gecko––and I've only taken in rescues because every living being deserves a loving and safe home. Although my home is not ideal for boarding more animals, I am more than happy to provide drop-in or stayover services for my clients. I have a well of love for all living creatures, and caring for animals fills me with a purpose and an inner peace that can’t be replicated by anything else. I’m very conscientious and enjoy learning to expand my mind and worldview. I take pride in my pursuit of more knowledge and hope to be a lifelong student. I’m not afraid to ask questions, and I think curiosity and honesty are very important qualities. I am hardworking, respectful, friendly, and trustworthy. I understand the great responsibility of caring for your beloved family member. One of the things I enjoy about Sacramento is that there are plenty of places to go and have fun with dogs, whether it’s parks or trails along the river.
