June & Friends Rover Stays in CLE
First and foremost, we want to be flexible to your needs in a pet sitter. Should you notice our calendar is unavailable for your dates. You are welcome to message us to see if we can *try* to accommodate. We cannot guarantee availability when the calendar is grayed out, but may still be able to help. Next, our pets are very much like our fur-children and we love treating your pets like they are part of the pack. June, Huey, and our kitty, Mina "Meatball," make our home is purrrfect for a place for your furry-friend to enjoy a night away while his/her owners get to play! Note: Mina is separated from our guests, but it is helpful to know whether your dog has been exposed to cats and how they react. We spend time playing outside in our fenced-in backyard or on our patio, and spend lots of time just hanging out, too. We have soft and hard toys, and keep to YOUR preference when it comes to treats. Walks around our neighborhood, and leashed playtime at a nearby school yard are on the table, too. ***************** Please know that we will always require a Meet and Greet before ever hosting a new pet to be sure all parties feel comfy and at home. We do not make exceptions to this rule for the safety of your dog, our dogs, and us. We also require your pup be up to date on Rabies and Bordatella vaccines, flea-free and on a flea preventative, and preferably on a heartworm preventative. ***************** It is also imperative that your pup be ok with being "alone" (with June & Huey, of course) during a typical workday. We work 9-5 Monday-Friday, but usually from home. Occasionally, though, we need to be at the office, and are able to come home at lunch for a walk/potty break. Other than a normal daytime work schedule, we will be spending our free time with your pet...just like it would be for them if they were at home with you. You can expect LOTS of picture updates via the Rover app, and prefer to keep all communication through the Rover app. We try to be as flexible as possible, though, when it comes to pickup and drop off times, travel delays, etc. Overall, we want your pet to feel at home with us and like they are visiting their doggie friends while you enjoy your time away. Sarah took care of our Hope for over two weeks in November 2025, so when we received a late notice that out-of-state friends were visiting and wanted to meet for dinner, we immediately thought of Sarah, but were concerned about this last-minute need since we weren't sure how long we would be. We do not like leaving Hope alone for more than a few hours, so we requested day care, and Sarah replied, "Yes." We were able to enjoy our friends with no worries. Sarah and her husband, Brendon, are fabulous people. We highly recommend them.
I hesitate to leave a 5 star review, only because they might get too busy to watch my boys. ❤️ Our senior has special needs and the puppy is a handful but I know they are loved and cared for while we are away. Thank you!
Sarah took great care of our Roxy and sent a bunch of adorable photos that were very reassuring. Since she's an older rescue with severe osteoarthritis, we were happy to find Sarah. She ran runners through her house to help Roxy get around and gave her all the medications she needs to manage her condition. And thanks to Sarah we now know Roxy likes stuffed toys and will order one right away. Overall, we were thrilled with the care our Roxy received.
It was very hard to leave our Hope for so long, but we knew she was in excellent hands. We are very pleased with the care and daily updates via pictures. We will definitely leave Hope with Sarah and Brendon when the need presents itself in the future.

We fit them into our schedule with all the love and attention they can get. Our goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible.

Safety, trust & environment
Pets are cared for in our home and fenced in yard. We maintain supervision outdoors, and always separate our guests when we need to leave the house for an errand or work. We always work to follow the animals' parents' instructions, too. Our home is their home while they stay with us, but we want them to keep their routines to minimize stress and encourage them to enjoy their vacation, too!
Pets
A typical day
Lots of playtime indoors as well as outdoors is on the agenda. If our guest is a frequent walker, we will walk them while they are here, too. (Unless weather doesn't accomodate) We will keep up with their current routine while their family is away. Our neighborhood is great for a nice long walk.
