Pet care experience

Honest, Loving, Reliable

I’ve spent years caring for dogs, cats, and even farm animals, giving me experience with pets of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. What sets me apart is that I take the time to get to know each pet as an individual. Every animal has different needs, routines, and personalities, and I believe they deserve care that's tailored specifically to them. I'm comfortable caring for puppies who need patience, consistency, and lots of play, as well as senior pets who benefit from a gentler pace, extra attention, and sticking to familiar routines. Whether your pet loves long walks, interactive play, quiet companionship, or simply someone to keep them company, I'm happy to adapt to what makes them feel most comfortable. I'm attentive to detail, reliable, and committed to following your pet's routine exactly as instructed (including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special care needs). My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and stress-free while giving you complete peace of mind through dependable communication and thoughtful care.

Sarah is great at communicating and sharing pictures of my pets throughout her stay that help put my anxiety at ease. She is thoughtful, friendly, and professional. My dogs never show any signs of stress when we return home, I know they are having a great time with her while we’re gone.

We had such a a great experience! She took wonderful care of our dogs and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. It’s never easy leaving your pets behind, but knowing they were in Sarah’s hands gave us real peace of mind. She was reliable, kind, and clearly has a great connection with animals. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!

Absolutely wonderful! Sarah is everything I wanted in a house/dog sitter. She was so attentive to the dogs and put up with all of their little “quirks”. She’s reliable and very trustworthy! I’m so grateful we found her! Thank you Sarah!

Schedule

Beginning in late August through mid-December 2026, I'll be student teaching during the weekdays. During that time, I'm available for morning visits before school, afternoon and evening walks or drop-ins, overnight stays, and weekend care. My schedule is consistent and allows me to plan ahead, so I can provide dependable, reliable care around my teaching responsibilities. Before and after student teaching, I’ll work as a substitute and be much more available.

Pets

A typical day

Every pet is different, so I like to tailor our day to their personality, energy level, and routine. For active dogs, I love taking them to grassy areas that are free of cheatgrass, where they can safely explore, sniff, and enjoy the outdoors. I also enjoy keeping dogs mentally engaged with enrichment activities like treat-search games and puzzle-style snack hunts. Playtime is always a highlight! Depending on what your dog enjoys, we might play tug-of-war, fetch, frisbee, or even let them chase the hose on a warm summer day. For pets who prefer a slower pace, I'm just as happy to provide gentle walks, cuddles, companionship, and plenty of affection.
