Devoted, Reliable, and FUN!
I have been looking after dogs (and many other animals including cats and horses) for 15+ years as favours to friends and family, so I have a massive love for all furry creatures! I have grown up with dogs and can detect body language changes, and know how to defuse situations if they do escalate. I have worked with dogs who are other-dog reactive, and know how to cater our walks to suit their needs without additional stress. Whether you are looking to have you pup join Atlas and I at our enclosed acreage, or would like me to simply drop in to visit and break up your pup's day with a play in the yard, I'm happy to do it all. Currently on a very open schedule due to the nature of casual work, and am looking to continue building up my experience here on Rover! :)

I have a fully enclosed rural acreage with automatic button-controlled gates, and reinforced wiring along the bottom two panels of fencing. We live on a quiet street with a few school children that commute in the morning/afternoon, but otherwise, not very busy. A lovely, safe, interesting space for them to explore and enjoy.
Ratings and reviews
Sarah has been looking after my 4 year, old Labrador Luke for some time. She has been absolutely wonderful taking him for walks in the wilderness, to the beach or lake for swimming, and also playing with him at a large fenced acreage where she lives. Sarah is very responsible and I trust her with Luke implicitly. I highly recommend her for any dog walking endeavors. She is caring, wise and very on the ball when she looks after dogs. Sarah has been our dog walker for the last year for our 2 year old Golden Retriever, River. Sarah comes over to our place and picks her up regularly to go for adventures with her and Atlas. Sarah is reliable and so easy to work with! We appreciate her flexibility and River always comes home a happy and exhausted girl. Some activities that Sarah has done with River include: scent work, walks through Royal Roads, water play, fetch, tugowar, and lots of playtime with Atlas. We love getting all the photos and videos of their epic playtimes each day. We can’t recommend Sarah enough and are so happy to have her help with River ❤️
Sarah has taken amazing care of our pooch Louie multiple times. She always makes sure he gets lots of love and attention, as well as sends us videos & photos of him while we’re away. Our dog is extremely active and she always goes out of her way to ensure he gets lots of exercise and stimulation. Sarah is extremely responsible and I know she cares for my pup as if he were her own.

Schedule
I am a casually employed person, so have multiple weeks of time off in which I can dedicate to pet-sitting! Whether you're looking for just a few days, or something more extended, I can accommodate both needs.

- I am open to any breed, however feel it is important to understand any preferences your dog may have socially. Is it reactive to smaller/larger dogs when on walks? Does it become fearful around men or children? Is it likely to chase/react to bikes, scooters, skateboards? While I am happy to look after a dog that might have a few quirks, knowledge of it beforehand is crucial to my providing the best care I can! :)
