Hi, I’m Sarah! I grew up in a home with dogs, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. Over the years, I took on more and more responsibility — from feeding and playtime as a kid to handling walks, daily care, and giving lots of love and attention as I got older. Although I no longer have pets of my own, I still have a deep love for animals. Back in high school, I regularly cat-sat for a family, which included administering medication like ear drops and mixing pills into food. While it's been a little while, that experience helped me become confident and comfortable caring for pets with special needs. I’m reliable, attentive, and always treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether it’s a quick walk or a longer stay, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while you're away.

Schedule
I recently graduated from my master’s program and am currently applying for jobs, so I’m home most of the day and have a very open, flexible schedule. That means I’m able to give your pets plenty of time, care, and attention throughout the day — whether it’s for walks, playtime, feedings, or just extra snuggles. I love having animals around and enjoy making them feel comfortable, happy, and loved while you're away.

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or at a client’s home, I always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. I do my best to stick to their usual routines — including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide — so your pet feels as comfortable as possible while you're away. Although I live in an apartment, my building has an unfenced dog park where pets can get some outdoor time (on-leash, unless otherwise approved), and there are plenty of walking paths nearby for longer walks and exercise. I’m home throughout the day, so your pet will get lots of attention, care, and company. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll treat your space with respect and make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable.
A typical day
I love keeping pets happy and active! Depending on their energy level and preferences, I enjoy going on walks along nearby paths, playing fetch or tug-of-war, and giving lots of belly rubs and cuddles. If your pet enjoys toys or puzzles, I’m happy to engage their minds with some fun games too! For dogs who like to explore, the unfenced dog park near my apartment is a great spot for supervised play and socializing (if you’re comfortable with that). Above all, I tailor activities to your pet’s personality and needs — making sure they have a fun, safe, and stress-free time while in my care.
