I currently work at a secondary school, which is only 10 mins from my door. However, the majority of the time I will be only offering boarding during the school holidays, which means I can plan my days around your pets! If you require something during term time, I have flexibility, so please do ask.

My garden is fenced/has bushes around the perimeter, and is large, and fairly wild at present... plenty to explore! My home has tiled floors in the hallway and kitchen/dining space, so there are never any fears of muddy paws coming in! I will follow your lead when it comes to care; you tell me what they are used to, and I will ensure that they have those needs met. ♥️

If your dog or car has any special requirements or needs, please don't hesitate to ask me. I am confident in handling most things, as long as I am aware. Due to having children, my most important stipulation is that your dog or cat be of a friendly nature and happy to be with children. Again, always happy to discuss things, and of course meet you prior to any boarding.
Ein typischer Tag
Depending on your dogs requirements, we can go for leisurely walks to the park, only moments from my front door, or for the more energetic, a long beach walk, followed by a thorough rub down when we arrive back home! Ball games such as catch or fetch in the garden, and gentle strokes in front of the tv in the evenings. If it is your cat that is staying with us, there will always be a cosy lap or sofa to curl up on, lots of gentle strokes and scratches, and if your cat enjoys playing, we are more than happy to push paper balls around, or drag a feather on some string! Whatever it is that your dog enjoys, will be what I plan...

I have always loved animals, big or small, furry, scaly, feathered... I just love being around them! I studied animal care at college, and afterwards, went on to teach practical animal care at college. I now work at a local secondary school so I have lots of availability for boarding during the holidays, and my working days are fairly short. I have two children who adore animals as much as I do, and are equally excited to offer a home from home for your pet. We as a family love to be outdoors, exploring the beaches, parks and coastal path near to our home, and would love to have the opportunity to share this with your pet. However, we are equally keen on snuggly sofas, and peace and quiet, and would welcome any furry cuddles if your pet should want. I must highlight however, that I will be very much led by you and your pet; I want to make them feel safe, happy and secure throughout their stay. I hold a certificate in veterinary medicine, so if your pet is on regular medication, this is something we can discuss. Ultimately, we'd like as a family to welcome your pets into our home, and hope that you will have peace of mind that they are receiving all the love, care and attention that they deserve, whilst you're gone.

Winston is always so happy at Sarah’s. Especially as he’s getting older and his needs are more, Sarah and her family are so wonderful with him
Riley absolutely loved his time with Sarah and her family. Even though our trip ended up being cancelled, Sarah still looked after Riley for a little while, and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. Riley doesn't take to everyone straight away, but he was more than happy to go with Sarah, which speaks volumes. You can tell she has a natural way with animals—she is kind, caring, and made Riley feel comfortable from the moment he met her. It was lovely to see how relaxed and happy he was, and I would have no hesitation in recommending Sarah to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and genuinely great with dogs. Thank you, Sarah!
Sarah couldn’t have looked after Maisie any better. She was so happy and relaxed when I picked her up and enjoying being just part of the family. I am very grateful for the care provided nd relieved to have found someone I completely trust to leave her with.
