I am naturally a homebody and tend to stay at home all day, so watching a dog in my home would be perfect! I am here to walk them, feed them, soothe their anxiety, and anything else you need 3x a day for walks, feeding, etc.

A typical day
Depending on the nature of the dog and the season and outdoor temp I love to take them for strolls at Herbert von King. In the summer I love going to big parks and going on long walks. If your dog does not like the dog park, though, I will keep them away from crowded areas. Otherwise I am a chill type of sitter the rest of the time and I like to relax and make the dog feel comfortable by lounging around. Usually the dogs end up cuddling and it's the best! I don't have dogs that play fetch - my dog is too small - but I am happy to play with them in my yard or take them to the dog run and have for many dogs. On Monday & Thursday evenings I am out of the house for about 2-4 hours. Otherwise I am typically home and will be home to care for your pup.

I am a creative professional with a really flexible schedule, since I'm at the computer all day writing, editing, and researching. I am able to set my own hours. I just want to help the two of us (me and your pet!) get outside and enjoy the air while relieving the burden off of you too! I have owned at least 7 kinds of pets in my lifetime including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, and turtles. I am most experienced with small to medium sized dogs of 2+ years including seniors. I am available for special medical needs, senior care, and dog walking. Send me a message! Happy to discuss your plans. Sarah kept Cheeks company and well taken care of when we went out of town last minute. Our girl is especially scared of fireworks and Sarah was watching her when the Knicks won (LGK!) and we were so grateful for her calming and present approach. We also received plenty of photos and updates throughout Cheeks' stay and she came home in great spirits. Thank you again!

Sarah is such a good care taker for my dog Pablo! We left him with Sarah for a few days and it looked like he had such a fun time with the pics Sarah shared. I’m glad we found a dog sitter who loves our dog as much as us. I’d gladly let Sarah take care of our dog again :)
