I am a creative professional with a really flexible schedule, since I'm at the computer all day writing, editing, and researching. I am able to set my own hours. I just want to help the two of us (me and your pet!) get outside and enjoy the air while relieving the burden off of you too! I have owned at least 7 kinds of pets in my lifetime including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, and turtles. I am most experienced with small to medium sized dogs of 2+ years including seniors. I am available for special medical needs, senior care, and dog walking. Send me a message! Happy to discuss your plans. **Right now I can only take small dogs or gentle giants who are modest and shy. I have a nearly blind senior chihuahua now and I am trying to keep her calm before she expires unfortunately! Sarah was great! Super communicative, flexible and patient with my dog Moss!
Sarah watched our one year old chihuahua for a little over three weeks and we could not be happier with her services. Not only did she send videos and photos daily along with updates on how our dog Oona was doing, but she also was quick to reply to our messages and any questions we had while on our trip. We will definitely want Sarah to watch Oona for any future trips we take!

Sarah kept Cheeks company and well taken care of when we went out of town last minute. Our girl is especially scared of fireworks and Sarah was watching her when the Knicks won (LGK!) and we were so grateful for her calming and present approach. We also received plenty of photos and updates throughout Cheeks' stay and she came home in great spirits. Thank you again!

Schedule
I am naturally a homebody and tend to stay at home all day, so watching a dog in my home would be perfect! I am a good anxiety soother and generally keep things calm.

I have a fenced yard for boarding. I will adjust to your communication needs and send pictures daily! I will have a roommate beginning Aug 15, 2025 that has 2 cats. Please let me know if your dog is okay with cats. I have experience managing many pets at once but that does not happen often.

A typical day
Depending on the nature of the dog and the season and outdoor temp I love to take them for strolls at Herbert von King. In the summer I love going to big parks and going on long walks. If your dog does not like the dog park, though, I will keep them away from crowded areas. Otherwise I am a chill type of sitter the rest of the time and I like to relax and make the dog feel comfortable by lounging around. Usually the dogs end up cuddling and it's the best! I don't have dogs that play fetch - my dog is too small - but I am happy to play with them in my yard or take them to the dog run and have for many dogs. I am typically home aside from the weekly pilates class or weekend night and will be home to care for your pup.
