A future vet for your pet!
I’ve worked in pet care professionally for 9 years, 4 of those years being spent in veterinary medicine. I approach pet care in ways that makes the pets most comfortable and value building relationships with the pets as much as I do my clients. I have an academic background in public health and am currently pursuing higher education with the end goal of earning a DVM. I am currently working full time at an animal hospital in Newport News, making my schedule more limited than it used to be for my pet sitting clients. My schedule is more workable for households located in Deltaville, Topping, Gloucester, Glouster Point, Hayes and Yorktown. Morning and evening visits are possible all days of the week, mid day / afternoon visits are currently limited to weekends. Please reach out to ask about scheduling possibilities!

I do not let dogs off-leash in non-fenced in areas or in spaces with dogs unfamiliar to yours. I require all dogs and cats to be updated on their rabies vaccines. I will not take an unaltered dog outside of his or her home, this is for the safety and wellbeing of your dog. If your dog struggles with behavioral issues and has a history of aggression, please include this in your message so I can help you decide the best options for your pet when it comes to meeting a new pet sitter. If your dog struggles with severe anxiety (this is very common!) please include some of the best anxiety-reducing practices for your dog (ex. favorite blanket, hiding spots, calming treats / jackets) in their care instructions so that they can have the best time possible without their favorite human.

We have a variety pack of dogs - needy, energetic, and sadly, a few steps from the rainbow bridge. Having a vet tech arrive at my doorstep immediately made me feel less anxious about leaving them for the weekend. Not only was she a professional, but she was so good with the animals - from the minute she arrived to meet them, she was engaged and loving - you could tell this is a vocation. Sarah stayed at our house, sent regular updates with pictures, and took such wonderful care of the menagerie! When we arrived home, the animals were happy, the house was neat and tidy, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. And BONUS, her sister is a groomer! Now we have a wonderful new pet sitter AND a groomer.
Sarah was wonderful with our spoiled kitty and dog. Took Sofie swimming and continued to send photos and update us throughout the week.
Sarah was great with our kitties. We would be happy to use her again.

Sarah has watched my fur babies multiple times, and she is always very helpful, communicative, professional, and trustworthy. My dog has severe anxiety, and he trusts her. She knows how to handle him. I highly recommend her and will use her again in the future.

Harmonogram
Early AM (before 7:30AM) and evening (after 6pm) visits available all week. Afternoon / mid day visits are dependent on location and day, but open every weekend.
