I’ve shared my life with dogs for years, and my little Yorkie Scuzzy was my world. She lived to a great age of 15, and looking after her through every stage of life taught me so much about patience, routine, comfort and trust. If family weren’t available to mind her, I would cancel plans, so I completely understand how hard it is leaving your pet with someone else. That’s a big part of why I decided to set up an account - to offer the kind of care and reassurance I would have wanted for my own. Pets get to stay in their own home, keep their usual routine and get plenty of love, company and attention while you’re away. Whether they’re full of energy, older, nervous or just enjoy having someone around, I care for them the way I’d want someone to care for mine. I have experience with behavioural problems, rescue pets, some dog training techniques, administering oral and topic medication (soon to be trained to administer injectable meds & first aid for pets), and special needs dogs (eg. A sweetheart named Ted in one of my pictures is fully blind)

Safety, trust & environment
I treat each pet’s home as if it were my own - keeping their routine, comfort, and safety a top priority. I provide walks, playtime, feeding and cuddles according to their usual schedule, and I give extra attention to pets who are nervous, elderly or just need a little extra support. Whether the doggy is crate trained or sleeps under the duvets - I’ll keep up with the norm 😊 It’s also no problem to let me know how to keep up with any house keeping whilst you’re away - watering plants, taking out bins for collection etc.

Very friendly and easy to deal with, Sarah did a great job looking after my cats and gave me detailed reports of each visit which put my mind at ease that everything at home was OK. Sarah was comfortable with the challenge of looking after my elderly cat and a newly adopted cat who was still settling in to my home. The cats were relaxed, well looked after and in good health when I got home.
We were a little nervous about leaving our dog for the weekend as he is quite protective/ nervous dog - but having him minded in our own home made everything so much easier as he was much more comfortable at home. He was well looked after and we could tell he was completely comfortable and happy when we got back to him. It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was being cared for so well while we were away. Highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring and reliable dog minder. Thank you so much! We will be booking again in the future! 🥰

Schedule
I work full-time (Mon-Fri, approx 8am-4:30pm) but can be fully flexible outside of these hours - whether for overnights stays or morning/evening check-ins. I’m happy to follow routine as closely to the norm as possible. Feeding & exercise at predictable times, and ensuring meds are received on time etc. Watch this space for doggy day care & home away from home style kennels too 🐾
