Dog is love.
Animals simply fill me with happiness. Ever since childhood, I have felt connected to the language of animals and have gotten such a deep and inexplicable joy from hanging out with them. I have worked professionally as an independent pet sitter in various parts of the country for the past seven years and have had some of the most rewarding experiences with the animals I've befriended. I offer overnight stays in my home where I live alone on three acres of pristine property in Weaverville, NC. At my house, your pets well being and happiness is considered my top priority while you are away. A little aside: I am also an herbalist and researcher/writer and a lot of my work is done quietly and remotely, so choosing you leave your pet with me ensures that I will be present for your animal(s) and give them ample attention while you are out of town. I offer genuine presence, nourishment, and heartfelt attention to your beloved creatures while giving them a lovely space with lots of land and beauty, and peace all around. I grew up with many animals that have touched my life tremendously, and I have developed an intuitive understanding of their communication style and overall needs. I offer free meet and greets, am adaptable to requests, and have worked with dogs and cats of many shapes, sizes, and situations. Sarah is amazing! She took wonderful care of our pups over the holidays. One of our dogs got very sick a few days before we were traveling, so we were very nervous about having to leave her. Sarah was very reassuring and handled everything magnificently! She kept track of all the new meds, feeding requirements and even took her to the vet for a follow up test. She sent us lots of updates and was really wonderful about communicating to calm our nerves. Most importantly, she gave our pups lots of cuddles, pets, love and care while we were away. We really can't recommend her highly enough!

Schedule
I work from home as a Clinical Herbalist, researcher and writer, so I'm available to give my full attention to animals in my care, with excitement and gratitude.

- Would love to know if your dog gets along well with other dogs and other people, as well as special needs that your dog might have. I do not have any other pets so when your animal is in my care, they will get my undivided attention.
