Sarah was wonderful! I loved the pics and updates each day and our dog had a blast playing with her pups! I'll definitely be giving her a call next time we go out of town!

Sarah was awesome! This was the first time we had to leave our dog Brody overnight with someone. She met us ahead of time at the dog park with Merlin, her dog , to be sure they got along OK . She texted me two photos and a video while she had him , showing me what a great time he was having . I will definitely call her the next time I have a need !

Schedule

We both work hybrid schedules, so someone is home with the dogs most of the time. Dogs get regular outdoor breaks throughout the day and plenty of attention and interaction. We’re happy to accommodate dogs who need more activity as well as those who are content to relax and hang out with us.

Safety, trust & environment

We have a large, fenced-in yard where dogs can safely get outside and play. Our fence is approximately 3 feet high and made of hog wire, so we’re best suited for dogs who aren’t jumpers or determined escape artists. Our own dogs respect the boundary. We also have a dog-loving 4-year-old, so dogs must be comfortable and safe around children. Our dogs are friendly and accustomed to sharing their space with other dogs. At night, visiting dogs sleep downstairs on their own dog bed or one of our designated “dog couches.” Crate-trained dogs are welcome to use their crate if that is what makes them most comfortable.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day includes lots of time hanging out with the family, regular trips outside to our fenced yard, and plenty of opportunities to play with our dogs. We can walk high-energy dogs or they can play and get exercise in the backyard, while dogs who prefer to relax can lounge around the house with us. We’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of attention, outdoor time, and companionship throughout the day, followed by a comfortable, relaxed evening at home.

Sarah can host up to 2 pets per night
We have two dogs: Merlin, a senior Lab/hound mix and Banner, a middle-aged Great Dane. They're fiendly, playful, and accustomed to sharing the home with other dogs. Because we have a 4-year-old child and two resident dogs, we’re looking for visiting dogs who are comfortable around children and other dogs. We’re happy to host playful, high-energy dogs as long as they can also settle down and relax in a family home. Our yard has a 3-foot hog-wire fence, so dogs should not be jumpers or escape artists.
