Reinforcement drives behaviour
I've got 25 years experience with dogs. Mostly collies but also small dogs and lurchers and staffies etc. I've got a huge amount of experience with reactive dogs. I've learned a lot about dog behaviour and training in my free time over the past few years. Positive reinforcement only. No punishment.

Sarah was very kind and understanding with Izzie who is pretty nervous. Sarah made Izzie welcome and I felt that Izzie was safe and well cared for . Izzie stayed at Sarah's house for 5 hours , allowing us to spend some dog free time to explore Wales . I would recommend Sarah for doggie day care .
Sarah-Kay was a major last-minute help! Menna seemed really happy with her and Sarah-Kay kept me updated with photos. Would highly recommend!!
Sarah Kay was so flexible and helpful when we were arranging a sitter in an unfamiliar place. Bobby got all of his needs met perfectly and they formed a great bond together. If we’re ever venturing back, we’ll definitely book again!

Schedule
I work from home in Talybont. I share my dog with my parents so I will often be free for other dogs Monday - Wednesday.

I have a small fenced garden, and dog friendly house. Pets are alive on the furniture. I live close to a forest which is great for walks

A typical day
I will normally start with some brain games, treat tossing and getting a feel for eachother. When we head out for a walk I encourage the dog to sniff and am patient waiting for them to do so. I can't help myself from training, so I will reinforce good behaviour and work on things like check ins and loose lead walking
