Walks, cuddles and wags 🥰
We've taken care of young and old dogs that need training help or even medical help (meds, supplements, and insulin injection). We both grew up with dogs and absolutely love having them around. We have done quite a bit of dog sitting in both our home and in other homes and we enjoy hanging out with both cats and dogs. We also have a huge soft spot for guinea pigs 🥰 Birds, fish and geckos are also something we have a bit of experience caring for. I (Sarah) work from home and my husband (Karl) has pretty flexible hours, so we are both able to be around the pups quite often. We make plenty of time to take walks, snuggle and get in play breaks. I am also flexible enough to move my work location if an in-home sitter is needed. We generally prefer to house sit as we've noticed pups tend to be more comfy and at ease in their own space. My husband and I definitely have space in our hearts and home for fluffy visitors. Our apartment building is very dog friendly with lots of fuzzy neighbors. We live 15 minutes (walking) from the beach so we love walks and go for walks regularly. We have a big living room area with plenty of space for fetch and play.

Sarah & Karl are amazing pet sitters! They took such great care of our house & of our entire zoo (2 big dogs and 2 cats)!! We have re-booked them many times, and they are our go-to for anytime we are out of town. Whole heartedly recommend!!
Sarah & Karl was our first Rover booking ever. We were super scared because all the tik tok horror stories but knew we had to give this a shot. We started with what we considered to be a trial run (mainly for us and the dogs) so booked them as a drop-in job. It went great. We only booked them for an hour but got an abundance of photos and check in messages throughout the hour. It helped to put me at ease on my husband and I's date night.
They were amazing and we could not recommend them more. They were extremely responsive and communicative. Our dog became comfortable with them quickly and it was clear he was cared for and loved on the entire stay. Cannot wait to book them again soon!!
Sarah & Karl watched both our dog and cat. They were great communicators & very attentive to our pets needs. We didn’t have to worry about our pets for a single second while we were gone because they were constantly providing updates. 10/10.

Schedule
I (Sarah) work from home and my husband (Karl) has pretty flexible hours, so we are both able to be around the pups quite often. We make plenty of time to take walks, snuggle and get in play breaks. Schedule: We generally wake up around 7 or 8am for walks and food. Early afternoon walk and playtime. 5 or 6pm dinner for pups and a 7/8pm walk. Pee breaks in between if needed. Our schedules are flexible so let us know if your dog has specific timing or routines and we can generally work around that 😊 Leave time: We generally have church on Sundays and some overlapping workout times throughout the week where we both will be away for 2.5-4.5 hours. Please do let us know if your pup will need special accommodations or if it may have issues with being left alone. We are sometimes able to move our schedules around to minimize unnecessary stress to the pups 😊

Safety, trust & environment
We do not use dog parks unless directly requested by the owner. This is to avoid any fights and also sicknesses going around. We are also very careful on walks and generally avoid interacting with other pups in case of reactivity. If you have specific preferences or want your pup to have more interactions, let us know! In our home, we don't feed pups any people food. They will be fed only what you provide for them. If they have allergies do let us know so we can be extra vigilant in keeping those things away from them. In your home, we are careful to keep things clean and strive to leave it just as you left it. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible with us being in your space so please let us know if you have any specific preferences for shoes, food, trash, etc..
A typical day
We will take walks around the neighborhood, to the beach, and down to the marina. Our living space has plenty of room for playing with toys and playing fetch. Cuddles and ear-rubs are always a priority in our schedule!
