Hello, my name is Sarah, I am a full time pet services provider. Pet care experience My name is sarah and I am here to provide and treat your pet as my own! Services I offer for dogs: Boarding, Daycare/half day daycare, House sitting, Drop-ins, Walking Services I offer for cats, reptiles, small furries, birds etc: House sitting, Drop-ins WHY BOOK WITH ME? EXPERIENCE: I have been around an array of animals my entire life. I currently have 2 horses, a dog and 2 tortoises!. I currently run my own very successful pet serviced business. I currently compete with my dog in which has exposed me to every dog breed possible! I am very knowledgeable when it comes to dog breeds and their needs. I currently have a German shepherd dog whom became reactive (due to puberty) of which I have managed to sort out. I am confident with dealing with behaviour issues. As a result of this, I am confident in handling most dogs and will remain calm and controlled in any situation. I worked on an equestrian yard as a head groom for 3 and a half years of which I was responsable for the day to day care, medicine administration, first aid and diet of 27 horses. I also looked after the cats on the yard (not feral) to their needs. LARGE OUTDOOR SPACE: I have a large sized garden which is completely enclosed with wooden fence panels. Half of the garden is patio and the other half is grass. As dogs are supervised, they are allowed to roam the whole garden. There is plenty of room for your dog to run around, explore and play fetch. I have a range of toys they are allowed to take outside to prevent boredom and help tire them out! In the warmer weather there is plenty of shade for your dog to cool down in, and my own dog even has a pool that he will share! I have cool mats and cool rugs when needed. Fresh drinking water will be provided at all times no matter the weather. All products and plants used in my garden are pet safe. FOR ALL STAYS: Your pet(s) will be of given lots of attention, cuddles and play time depending on their individual needs! I will stick to their normal home routine where possible, including feeding and walking times/amounts. I can continue with any training, and will enforce rules such as not being allowed on the furniture if requested. I will send written updates and photos throughout the day for your peace of mind, and to show you what your pets have been up to and how much fun they are having on their own holiday! FLEXIBLE AND ACCOMMODATING: I am more than happy to accommodate whatever needs your pet may have, as long as this is discussed before booking a stay. I am available most days, weekends and holidays. For services where I will be entering your home, I can also complete basic daily tasks such as collecting mail, emptying bins etc. I will treat your home with respect, and leave it clean and tidy for you to return to. I am happy to walk dogs in any weather conditions, and will provide any equipment needed such as poop bags, water for breaks etc. though they must be provided with a fitting collar or harness upon pickup. I am also happy to provide treats and toys to make the walks more exciting for them and to provide training experiences. If your pup loves a muddy puddle, I will ensure they go home fresh and clean. RESIDENT PETS: Obi is a 2 year old, 37kg long-haired German shepherd. He loves to play but understands when he needs to leave others alone. Guest dogs are never let off the lead in a public area, eg local park. This is for their own safety. I will walk them on long training line when in a public park, and let off lead in the garden only (unless you are a regular user and I am confident with the dog).
