Pet care experience
I adopted my own dog 8 years ago, Luna, who’s a big dog (70 lbs). When I joined the Peace Corps after graduating college, my parents took care of her. After returning, I couldn’t bring her to Boston, which is where I was getting my Master’s degree, so she’s now living her best life with my mom and dad in Texas. I love, LOVE, pups and frequently dog sit my friend’s golden retriever. I’ve also dog sat for my best friend’s dogs, two Labradors, throughout the years. I’m a long distance runner always looking for the perfect 4-legged running buddy. Luna and I would always go for runs together. I miss my Luna so much it hurts; I will always stand by the belief that dogs are the best thing about life. I would give your pup all of my love, affection, and attention if chosen.

Sarah and her gorgeous pup Concha brought our girl to LIFE. Gali found a new best friend and put up a struggle when it was time to leave- that’s how great of a time she had. I felt completely at ease and knew our girl was very well taken care of & having lots of fun. Cannot stress enough what a great experience we had and how fantastic Sarah was. She accommodated our last minute plans and sent daily updates of the girls having a blast. We are so grateful to have found Sarah and would recommend over and over. I am very careful when handling my own dog, and I'm extra careful when handling other's pups. I live in an apartment with its own fenced in mini dog park which I can use depending on owner's preference.

I honestly love big dogs so much, but every dog has my heart. I would want to know if a dog is crazy about anything in particular. For example, my Luna is obsessed with squirrels, so I need a good grip on her leash when they’re around.
A typical day
Runs if possible for the dog, long walks in meridian park or rock creek park, and possible dog park visits. My dog is VERY playful and loves every dog she meets, so I am sure that she will also be a great source of entertainment.

I work from home so I will be at your pet's service any time of day or night! I walk my own dog at least 3 times a day; I can provide the same or more for your pup!
