Information Sarah K. would like to know about your pet
Any issues or needs your dog has I am more than happy to adapt to their requirements. Whether this be diet or behaviour. Any allergies etc too.
A typical day
A typical day would be jumping out of bed and going on a walk before the day really begins. We’ll likely come back to the flat, have some breakfast and then plan for the day where we’re going to go! A personal favourite for walks is the pentlands, or around blackford / the braids. Depending on how socialable Your dog is. I have a lot of experience with unsociable dogs too so I have a lot of places up my sleeve for quieter areas

Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Sarah and I am a dog lover with over 10 years experience looking after dogs, from dogs in the family to looking after friends dogs. A little back story, I have had my little Ollie the pomeranian for 6 years now, he now lives with my family in the Lake District (lucky boy!) and I am definitely missing that furry friend around so thought this would be a great way for me to share the love! I also have a lot of experience with unsociable dogs who just like their own space - I know a lot of quiet areas in Edinburgh if this would suit your dog better. I currently work from home so your dog will have me by their side at all times. I also live near lots of nice big parks at a walking distance. If your dog doesn’t mind car journeys I will be more than happy to take your little furry friend out to places like arthur seat and the pentlands for a nice change of scenery and lots of nice new smells! Your dogs safety is my number one concern. I have a dog myself and I know how nerve-wracking it can be handing your little one over to a stranger. I will be contactable 24/7 when I have your dog and will keep you updated as often as you’d like. If we meet up before the care starts I’d recommend you give me some of your pets favourite toys, their bed, and even a jumper of yours to make them feel safe with your smell.

Sarah looked after Alfie in our house for 2 weeks. He’s qn old man now so being able to stay in his own house is a must . He settled really well with Sarah and I’m not sure he even missed us as he was too busy having adventures with her! She sent lots of update photos & videos which really put our minds at rest to see him looking so happy & relaxed. Sarah also took great care of our house.

We knew from our exchanges before we even met Sarah that our young pup Reuben would be in safe hands while we were away at our son’s wedding. We had never used a dog sitter before but wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sarah to others. She took great care of him, sent us updates to let us know he was fine and we felt relaxed and reassured while we were away. Couldn’t have asked for more.

I can’t thank Sarah enough for the amazing care she gave Jenkins while I was away! From the very first meet-and-greet, it was clear she genuinely loves animals and knows exactly how to keep dogs happy and relaxed. The updates and photos I received showed just how much fun Jenkins was having — it honestly felt like he was on a holiday too! He was with her all the time being at work, going on so many walks and little adventures, and I could see how happy and relaxed he was. It made being away so much easier. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and knowledgeable pet sitter. We’ll definitely be booking with her again! 🐾

Sarah was great, very helpful and communicative and was able to take Syl after a last minute request from me. Syl had a great time and I’d recommend Sarah to anyone!
