I try to maintain the routine that an animal normally has as much as I can. I like to meet an animal where they’re at, if they have a lot of energy I’ll provide enrichment, walks, and engage with them often, if they’re lower energy we’ll hang out and I’ll provide as much snuggling as they’re interested in!

A typical day
For some of my higher energy pups, and with owner permission, I’ve taken dogs on hikes up to 5 miles which is a great way for them to get their energy out and do some exploring! I’ve also put together fun enrichment activities like snuffle mats, frozen treats, and sniffing trails. With lower energy animals, we’ll spend time snuggling so they can get all the love they desire. I love to encourage animals to use their brains as much as move their bodies.

Pet care experience
I love animals of all walks of life and personally own two large dogs and two cats. I have also volunteered 500+ combined hours between a horse rescue called the Equine Project and the Tacoma and Auburn Valley Humane Societies. I can take dogs on short or long walks, runs, and hikes, can handle all sizes and ages of animal, and know how to and am able to groom, pet sit, and train for a negotiable additional cost. I recently graduated from Pacific Lutheran University earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and am currently working remotely. I love working with animals and because of my flexible working conditions I am able to stay with the animals I’m caring for full-time. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your fluffy companion.

Sarah was excellent and met all our needs. We had a number of special needs for our fur family. Both of my college daughters had a pet staying at the house along with our dog and 2 skittish cats. So each animal had its own special set of directions and they all needed to be managed separately to keep everyone happy and safe. Sarah managed all these expectations perfectly, giving each pet indualized care. She sent pictures and updates and was very responsive when I sent messages. I will definitely use Sarah again for our pet care needs.
Sarah is amazing and took such great care of my girl Juju! She took great care of her and genuinely enjoyed spending time with my dog which means the world to me. She did a great job checking in, followed my suggestions perfectly, and was on time every day. I look forward to having her help me with my pet care needs in the future too!
Sarah took such wonderful care of my dog and my home as well! She was very communicative and quick to respond, and even took it upon herself to bring my mail in. My dog will surely be excited to see her again, and I’m thrilled to have her as a trustworthy and loving sitter for my girl.
Sarah was responsive, arrived right on time and was caring and patient with our 2 senior girls. We will definitely have Sarah check on our pets again!
