I’m an experienced and devoted dog mum with around 7 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. I grew up helping to care for our family Labrador, Theo, and I now have two Cockapoos of my own Harold and Hermes, so I understand just how important it is to find someone you completely trust with your pets. I’m comfortable caring for puppies from 6 months old through to senior dogs and have experience with different routines, personalities and stages of life. I also have experience caring for cats, including administering diabetic injections. Through caring for my own dogs, I’ve gained experience giving medication, cleaning and wrapping wounds, and providing extra care and attention during recovery from medical treatment. I’m happy to provide this type of additional care where needed, provided your pet doesn’t have intensive medical requirements. I’m DBS checked and pet insured, and I’m very attentive to feeding, walks, toileting, medication and each pet’s individual routine. I’m also more than happy to send regular photos and updates while they’re with me; I know how reassuring that is when you’re away! Above all, I’ll treat every pet in my care with the same love, patience and attention I give my own, while following their normal routine as closely as possible.

Sarah-Jane has looked after out two black Labradors, Oscar and Theo, along with our cat, Kiki, on a number of occasions when we've been away. She house sits for us when needed, and it's always reassuring knowing that all three of our pets can stay comfortable in their own home, while being properly cared for. She knows their individual personalities and routines really well and makes sure they all get plenty of attention, affection and company. Oscar and Theo absolutely love having Sarah-Jane around, and she is equally attentive with Kiki, making sure she gets all the fuss she want too! We always come hone to three very happy and settled pets. Sarah-Jane is dependable, caring and someone we trust completely with our pets and our home. We are always very comfortable going away knowing they are in such good hands.
SJ has looked after my chocolate Lab, Millie, a number of times when I’ve been away, and I’ve always felt completely comfortable leaving her in her care. Millie is always excited to see her, and she gets on so well with Harold and Hermes. Having other friendly dogs there is such a lovely addition to her stay, especially as none of the other sitters I’ve used have had dogs of their own. She gets plenty of playtime, attention and fuss, and always comes home happy and settled. It’s such a relief having someone I can fully trust with her, especially when I’m away for a few days. Sarah-Jane is reliable, caring and genuinely lovely with dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Millie with her again and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and friendly sitter.
I cannot recommend Sarah-Jane highly enough. She regularly looks after my dog, Zues, who absolutely loves spending time with her and playing with her own pups. SJ is caring, attentive and clearly loves what she does. She makes Zues feel like part of the family, and it gives me real peace of mind knowing he is getting plenty of attention, affection and fun while he is with her. Finding someone you trust with your dog makes such a difference, and SJ is that person for us. Anyone looking for a wonderful dog walker would be lucky to have her.

Schedule
Stay at home dog mum, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have two Cockapoos of my own, so walks, feeding, playtime and plenty of attention are already part of everyday life! I can adapt to your dog’s usual feeding and walking schedule wherever possible, and dogs staying with me will have plenty of company throughout the day. I’m also happy to provide regular photos and updates so you can see how they’re getting on.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety and comfort will always come first. I have two friendly Cockapoos at home, so any dog staying with me would need to be comfortable around other dogs. I only care for small to medium-sized dogs and always like to understand their personality, routine and individual needs before their stay. We have a surprisingly large, private, and fully enclosed terrace where the dogs can safely play, relax and get some fresh air throughout the day. We also have access to a secure enclosed communal garden downstairs, which is exclusively for residents of our apartment building. I’ll follow your instructions carefully around feeding, walks, medication, sleeping arrangements and house rules, keeping your dog’s routine as close to home as possible. I’m DBS checked, pet insured and have experience administering medication and providing basic wound and recovery care.
Pets
A typical day
A typical day with us includes plenty of company, playtime and attention alongside a familiar routine. We usually start with a morning walk, followed by breakfast and some time to relax. Throughout the day there’ll be playtime with my two Cockapoos, access to our large private enclosed terrace for fresh air and toilet breaks, and plenty of cuddles and downtime too. We’ll have another walk later in the day and I’m happy to include enrichment activities, games or favourite toys depending on what your dog enjoys. I’ll always try to follow their usual feeding, walking and sleeping routine so their stay feels as much like home as possible. 2-3 walks a day depending on if we go to the large parks.

- Before looking after your dog, I’d love to know as much about them as possible — their normal routine, feeding schedule, walking habits, personality, likes and dislikes, sleeping arrangements and any little quirks that make them who they are! Please let me know about any allergies, medication, medical requirements, resource guarding, separation anxiety or behavioural concerns. As I have two Cockapoos of my own, dogs staying in our home must be comfortable and safe around other dogs. I currently care for small to medium-sized dogs and puppies from 6 months old. My partner also lives at home, so dogs must be comfortable around men. I’m always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure everyone is comfortable and that your dog will be a good fit with our household.
