What makes me a unique and valuable pet sitter is my lifelong passion and love for dogs, combined with my experience in caring for them. Growing up with dogs in my house has given me a deep understanding of their needs and behavior, and I have always enjoyed spending time with and taking care of them. One of my particular strengths is my experience with big dogs, which can be a challenge for some pet sitters. I am comfortable handling and walking larger breeds, and I know how to provide the extra attention and exercise that they need. In addition, I have skills in training puppies and providing senior care. I have successfully trained several puppies in basic obedience and house training, and I know how to adapt my approach to different personalities and learning styles.

I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough! She was absolutely wonderful to work with from start to finish. From our initial communication, she was incredibly responsive and professional, which immediately put me at ease about leaving my golden retriever in her care. What truly impressed me was how she kept us updated throughout the day with adorable pictures and updates - it was clear she understood how much our pup means to us. She even took our dog to the dog park, which was such a thoughtful touch that gave our golden the exercise and socialization she loves. When we picked up our dog, it was obvious she'd had an amazing day. She came home tired, happy, and clearly bonded with her sitter. You can always tell when your dog has genuinely enjoyed their time with someone, and that was definitely the case here. I felt completely comfortable and confident leaving my dog with her, and I will absolutely be using her services again whenever she's available. She's become our go-to dog sitter in Chicago, and I couldn't be happier with the care and attention she provided. If you're looking for someone reliable, caring, and who truly loves dogs, look no further!
Sarah was an amazing sitter for Goose! She really took time with him and his mild anxiety and made sure he was really taken care of :) Would highly recommend to anyone looking for someone who gives their full attention to your pup!!
We had to head out last second for my birthday, Sarah was very accommodating and timely in her responses. We received frequent updates and our dog barely wanted to leave. 10/10 would recommend and return.
Sarah did an awesome job with Meatball! He seemed like he had a lot of fun and I really appreciated getting updates about his day.

Schedule
I have 2-3 classes every day from M-W and no class on Fridays, so my schedule is pretty free during the weekdays. Please refer to my calendar for updated availability, and let me know if you have any questions.

Safety, trust & environment
As a pet sitter who provides care for pets in my home, I take their well-being very seriously. When pets stay with me, I make sure they have access to fresh water at all times and that they are fed according to their regular schedule and dietary needs. I also ensure that they get plenty of exercise by taking them for walks. In addition to basic needs, I also provide a comfortable and safe environment for pets to stay in. I have a designated space in my home for them to sleep and relax in, and I make sure it is clean and free of any hazards. If a pet has any special needs, such as medication or specific routines, I am more than happy to accommodate those needs to ensure they are as comfortable as possible. I also love capturing photos of the dogs playing and having a good time. I will send photo and video updates to the pet owners, so they can see how their furry friend is doing while they are away. Overall, I treat every pet in my care like they are my own, and I strive to provide a stress-free and enjoyable experience for them while they are away from home.
Pets
A typical day
As a pet sitter, I like to keep the dogs I watch engaged and active. Some fun activities that I enjoy doing with them include playing fetch in the park (if leash trained) and going for long walks in nearby parks. If the doggo has been socialized, I also like to take them on doggy play dates with my friends dogs. When it comes to places I like to take the dogs to, I prefer open and scenic routes that the dogs would enjoy.
