Hello! I’m Sarah - an active, attentive, and communicative pet lover based near(ish) Volunteer Park. I work from home on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Fridays and spend weekends exploring the city or outdoors. I often describe myself as both an indoor cat and an outdoor dog...I love play and adventure outside, but I also appreciate quiet time and cozy snuggles at home. I share my home with Juniper, my 6-year-old border collie, and two middle-aged orange tabby cats, Bronco and Pepe. I have experience with a variety of different temperaments, behaviors, and health needs and am happy to tailor energy and activity based on the individuality of your fur baby. Juniper joins me on all of my outdoor adventures and can either keep your dog company or give them space, if preferred. She’s incredibly well-trained and reads other dogs beautifully, playing hard with high-energy pups or napping quietly with seniors. If you know border collies, you know they require dedication and care, and that same level of attention will be given to your pet. All clients looking for doggy day care or boarding will need to confirm that your pup is cat friendly.

Schedule
I work from home half of the week, so caring for pets is naturally woven into my day. My own dog and cats are my top priority, and I make time for walks, play, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Weekends are perfect for longer adventures - whether that’s a hike, a run, or a leisurely stroll. I’m as happy tackling a 20-mile trail as I am enjoying a quiet evening at home listening to music by my fireplace.

I’m highly communicative and will keep you updated with photos and messages throughout the day so you always know how your pet is doing. I follow all specific instructions you provide to to ensure your pet’s health and happiness. My own pets receive top-notch care, from regular vet visits to tailored nutrition and exercise, and I promise to give your fur baby the same level of attention and love.

A typical day
I love going to the park and throwing balls with my dog and I’ll happily do the same with yours if that’s their favorite activity! If not, we can enjoy long walks or runs through the city or even hit the trails for a mountain adventure. For cats, I’m all about engaging play with mouse wands and offering cuddles (if that’s their thing). If your kitty prefers space, I’ll make sure they’re fed, hydrated, and comfortable while admiring them from afar.
