Sarah has taken care of my 6 year old GSD and my 3 year old Golden Retriever on numerous occasions and has proven to be a very attentive pet sitter, as well as someone who can be trusted with the things you value most in your day to day life. Our dogs know and love Sarah and we’ve grown to love having her help even on days where we just need an extra hand to take care of our babies on days where our schedules are full!

I have known Sarah for about 4 years and in those 4 years I have watched her care so much for her animals and others. With her own pets, she takes the upmost care of them and they love her dearly. I have watched her keep them on a strict schedule for feedings, walks, and bathrooms breaks. They understand commands and listen extremely well. I know she’d be an amazing addition to the Rover team!

Sarah is the kind of person you feel lucky to trust with your home and pets. She has stayed at our house and cared for our three cats at least seven times, sometimes for trips as long as two weeks, and she has been consistently amazing. We didn’t know Sarah personally before hiring her. We only knew her as a customer from her job, so all of our trust in her comes from how she actually cared for our home and our pets, not from any prior relationship. We chose her to ask because of our interactions with us and felt she was a good fit. It turned out she was everything we could imagine. Sarah stayed at our home during all of her non‑working hours at her part‑time job. The only time she wasn’t in the house was the roughly eight hours she worked, three days a week. Every other hour she was here, giving the cats company and social time. It made a huge difference, especially for the shy ones. She keeps the house tidy, brings in the mail, and always leaves everything exactly the way we left it. Every time we come home, the house looks and smells just right, and you would never know someone had been staying there. Our cats are always in great shape when we get back. They’re fed, watered, relaxed, and clearly comfortable with her. Even the shy ones who usually hide will let her find them so she can make sure they get their food and aren’t bullied by our “fatty” who tries to eat everyone’s bowl. We only had one rule, which was that no one else should ever be in our home. She respected that completely and never once broke that trust. The daily updates are honestly our favorite part. She sends thoughtful notes and pictures every day, and it gives us real peace of mind while we’re away. If you want someone responsible, kind, and genuinely great with animals, Sarah is exactly who you want watching your pets and your home.
