Golden retriever mom - enough said!
It feels silly to say 26 years of pet care when I am 26 years old. But I might as well, because I’ve never not had a dog! I am a golden retriever mom so I’m used to big energetic dogs. I watched family and friend’s dogs often and decided to do it more full time with Rover. I’m good for a good long walk - let’s get some steps in! I also have senior dog experience, such as administering medication and special food and care instructions.

Outstanding sitter! My dog can be a little challenging, but Sarah communicated amazingly, made my doggo as comfortable as possible, and drove to meet me at a closer location for pick up! Would definitely book again.
Kody had so much fun with Finn and Sarah. He was so tired when I picked him up after a fun day of adventures with his new friends! Sarah was so kind and understanding, very pleasant to talk to as this was the first time using Rover or having someone watch my new puppy. Would 1000% have her watch Kody again!!
Sarah was great to work with for caring for my dog Buster. She was very accommodating for planning and scheduling, and she was great at getting along with Buster and considering his needs and temperament.
Sarah is a very reliable petsitter who has experience with both small and large dogs! She is especially great with golden retrievers (since she has one of her own) but is great with all breeds. She communicates well with thoughtful notes and photos. Highly recommend booking her!
Sarah is so sweet with our two King Charles Cavaliers. Every time they see her they go nuts. She is aLeah’s timely and even went above and beyond when we had pet sitting/dog watching issues with others canceling. We trust her 110% with our pups, you should too!

As a pet owner and frequent traveler, I know that leaving your pet in someone else’s hands can be nerve wracking. The best pet sitters assure you that their pet is being cared for, so you can enjoy your time away! If your pet is staying with me, they’ll have an energetic golden retriever as a friend, with full time access via doggy door to our large, fenced backyard.

A typical day
In this household, we start every morning with breakfast and a long walk. Then, its play time in the yard, followed by a morning and afternoon nap. We’ll do more yard play time, and another evening walk to get our wiggles out. Then its dinner time and football!

- Please let me know of any special requests you have for your dog or silly tendencies I should know about. For example, my golden likes to steal and shred toilet paper, so I have to keep the bathroom doors shut. Tell me about your pet’s silly tendencies! We have a doggy door with access to our big grassy back yard, so hopefully your pet is okay with that! If they aren’t familiar, I can teach them, or let them out manually, which is fine too as my husband and I work from home.
