Pet care fits naturally into my weekly rhythm. I work full-time Monday through Thursday, but I’m available for evening care during the week. On Fridays I work mornings, so I’m available afternoon & evening. My weekends are fully open for pet care needs. Whether it’s daily drop-ins or evening walks, I love spending time with dogs and make sure they’re a priority in my schedule.

I care for pets like they’re my own—because that’s exactly how I approach things in both my home and my clients’ homes. At home, I care for my dog Milo, who I’ve personally trained, as well as our family dog Annie and my sister’s energetic puppy, Oakley. I’m used to managing multiple dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. Whether I’m in my home or yours, I prioritize keeping pets safe, on routine, and feeling loved. I always respect each dog’s schedule, feeding instructions, and comfort preferences, and I’m happy to send updates so you can feel confident while you’re away.

I prefer friendly, non-reactive breeds that do well with other dogs and people. Due to a previous back injury, I’m not able to lift dogs over 30 lbs, so I appreciate a heads-up if your pup needs to be carried or assisted in any way. I’m happy to work with dogs of all sizes as long as they’re manageable on leash and have a generally calm, social temperament. My goal is always to keep your pet safe, happy, and comfortable!
A typical day
I love keeping pets engaged and happy while their people are away! Depending on your pup’s personality and energy level, we might go on walks, play with toys, work on basic commands, or enjoy some calm cuddle time. I also love letting dogs explore (safely!) on sniff walks or play in the yard if that's available. Whether they’re playful or more laid-back, I’ll match their vibe and make sure they feel loved, entertained, and cared for.

As a devoted dog mom and experienced pet sitter, I treat every pup like part of the family. What sets me apart is my hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes—from playful puppies to large breeds and senior dogs with specialized needs. I’ve worked through behavior training with my own rescue pup, so I understand the importance of patience, routine, and positive reinforcement. Whether your dog needs an active playmate, a gentle companion, or just someone to keep their routine consistent while you’re away, I’m here to give them the same love and attention they get at home.

Sarah Beth has always been a kind, loving, and responsible car giver for animals. She has had at least three of her own in her lifetime and all three have been immaculately cared for and loved. She would be an excellent asset to the Rover team!
