Hi! I’m Sarah — a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet owner. I’ve spent many years caring for my own dog and cats, and I know how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care. My goal is to make your pets feel happy, comfortable and cared for while keeping you informed along the way. I’ve had my dog, Loki, for 11+ years and have loved caring for him through every stage of life, including his senior years and changing health needs. I’ve also had my cat, Max, for 14 years. I’m comfortable adapting to different personalities, energy levels and routines, and I understand that every pet has their own quirks! I’m reliable, attentive and communicative, and I’ll happily send photos and updates during every visit. Whether your pup needs an energetic walk, a leisurely sniff around the neighbourhood, some playtime and attention, or your cat needs food, fresh water, a clean litter box and some company, I’ll treat them with the same care I’d want for my own. I’m currently transitioning into my next role in marketing and communications, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of weekday availability. I’m excited to spend some time with animals while helping make life a little easier for their humans. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members!

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, needs and any special instructions before their first visit, and I’ll follow your directions closely. Please let me know of any special care your pet may need. For walks, I’ll make sure your dog is securely leashed and comfortable before heading out, and I’ll choose routes and activities appropriate for their age, energy level and abilities. I’m happy to take things at your pet’s pace, whether they prefer an energetic walk or a slower stroll with lots of sniffing. For drop-in visits, I’ll make sure pets have fresh water, food and a clean, comfortable environment, and I’ll give them plenty of attention, playtime or space depending on what they enjoy. I’m also comfortable following medication and other care instructions. I’ll send you photos and an update after every visit so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy and well cared for while you’re away. When I’m caring for pets in your home, I’ll treat your space with the same respect and care that I would my own.

Sarah is a true animal lover with a natural gift for connecting with pets of every kind. Animals seem to gravitate toward her, and it’s especially clear with cats — she has a real knack for putting even the shyest ones at ease.
