I’ve had dogs, cats, bunnies, and farm animals all my life. I even worked for the humane society for 5 years. Now I work from home and have an 8 year old dog who would love company and a play partner. I've used Rover sitters and know how challenging it can be to find a sitter who loves your furry family member as well as you. I also keep my rates low because I know how challenging it can be to find affordable care. Rover requires I use my legal name, but I go by Fin (my middle name).

I was very pleased with Fin who kept me updated about Blackjack. He had a couple of issues that concerned Fin regarding his digestive system. I reassured her that sometimes he does have challenges. He was fine the first seven days so likely stressed with the number of days he was at Fin’s home. Fin sent a number of photos that showed Blackjack was totally enjoying himself! I highly recommend Fin as a Dogsitter. Her backyard is a great place for dogs to hang out as is her home. I was impressed by the fact that she walked the dogs twice a day and also only takes one dog at a time.! Fin works from home so Blackjack got constant attention!

Schedule
I work from home on a flexible schedule so that allows for two walks a day and plenty of attention throughout. I live in a great neighborhood for walks with two off leash dog areas close by.

Freya gets lots of cuddles, nap time, play time, and walks. She’ll help out with the play time and is good about sharing the bed with visiting dogs. Having many decades of animals, I can handle routine and emergency care, including bathing, nail trimming, medications.

A typical day
A couple walks, a trip to the off-leash dog park if that’s something your dog likes as much as mine, pets, brushing, and cuddling. I can feed meals more frequently than Freya’s two per day if required. I find a dog in my lap makes the work day so much easier.
