Hello! My name is Sarah and I live in a house in “Old West” Lawrence. I have 2 cats, Bubba and Chester, but I have had dogs all my life. If you are looking for someone who is kind, responsible, and trustworthy- look no further. You can be sure your pet will have plenty of love and affection when you are gone. I can provide updates, pictures, and FaceTime calls as much as you need, and I don’t mind putting in some extra work around your house too! I know it’s important to you to find someone who will love your pet as much as you do, and someone who will make your pet feel special. Because of this, I only accept one job at a time so that you pet will receive all of the attention and care they need. Before I take a job, I ask that we meet and go over all of your expectations, so that your pet can get the best care they deserve. I want us both to have a successful experience! Please note that in my professional line of work as a mortician, strict time lines are not a good fit, as I can not plan when I am/am not needed. Sarah is so sweet and took such great care of our two cats. She gave them lots of snuggles and sent lots of pictures. She always made sure they had plenty of food and water and kept the litter boxes clean. Highly recommend Sarah!!
Sarah is fantastic! My cats are always happy to see her and I feel at ease when I know she is caring for them. She provide detailed updates and is great at accommodating all of my fur babies (and my) idiosyncrasies. She always goes above and beyond like by bringing in mail and taking out trash on my longer trips. Would 10/10 recommend Sarah!
Sarah was great. We came home to a happy, well cared for puppy. She even discovered a way to encourage him to eat his dry dog food more consistently. She common with us and even sent pictures. AND she laundered the bedclothes and towels she had used. Her care of both our pet and our house was over the top and much appreciated.

Schedule
I am a Mortician (Funeral Director & Embalmer). Unfortunately with my line of work, you can’t “plan” when you are needed. For the most part, I am at the funeral home Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm, but as I said, those hours eb & flow based on demand. If your pet has a strict scheduled timeline, we probably won’t be a good match! But if your pets needs are flexible, I will stick to their typical schedule as much as possible as making them comfortable is my number one priority!

I love going for walks and I really enjoy the dog park. One of my favorite places to walk is around my neighborhood and up and anywhere in nature!
