I have been around animals my whole life. Growing up I always had 4 dogs and 2 cats with fosters in and out. I started volunteering at the animal shelter and worked my way up to becoming a dog trainer and handler for them and foster mom. I dog sat and fostered several animals on my own back in my hometown. Since moving here two years ago I have been on Rover, watching dogs at least once a month. I have experience with various behaviors and training methods and feel very comfortable with almost all dogs.

Sarah was absolutely wonderful! She was able to accommodate a last-minute booking and was so kind and communicative throughout the entire stay :) I really appreciated her flexibility and could tell my pup was in great hands. I would definitely book with her again!

Sarah is really amazing! My dog started limping the day she was supposed to go to Sarah’s and she did a fantastic job of trying a bunch of different things to get her to take her meds. She was so sweet with her! 10/10 recommend.

Schedule
I live in a 4th apartment (there is an elevator) by myself with no other pets. I am a teacher so I am gone 7-3 but then am home on weekends and evenings and ready to play, walk or snuggle with animals. During the summer I am home more frequently and like to stay active.

I have trails near my home as well as a fenced in dog park that is usually not occupied. I plan on going off of their needs as far as walk, exercise and care.
A typical day
I have training in dog enrichment and like to keep their brains active as well as their body! I also visit the Daniel Island Waterfront Park frequently to walk the trails.
