I work full-time in a professional role with a lot of flexibility, as I’m mostly based from home. This means I spend the majority of my time in a home environment, which works really well alongside pet and house sitting. My schedule is quite adaptable, so I can easily build my day around pet care — including walks, feeding times, and making sure your pet has company throughout the day. I’m not required to be in the office regularly, and if needed, I can adjust my schedule or take time off for longer stays. I’m also available on weekends, which makes me a great fit for short trips, longer holidays, or last-minute plans. This setup works especially well for pets that like having someone around during the day, as I’m able to be present rather than away for long periods. I’m very organised and reliable, and I make sure everything runs smoothly while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how things are going

I always aim to keep pets in a calm, familiar, and low-stress environment by following their usual routine as closely as possible. Please note that I am not able to look after any pets in my own home. In a pet owner’s home, both the pet’s space and the home itself are treated with care and respect, ensuring everything stays clean, secure, and organised. I follow instructions closely, including feeding, walks, medication, and any specific preferences. Building trust with each pet is really important to me, especially for those that may be shy or a bit more sensitive. I never rush interactions and always approach things at the pet’s pace. Safety is a priority throughout — from using the correct lead setup for dogs to making sure doors and windows are secure, and being mindful of surroundings during walks. I’m very comfortable managing keys and home access responsibly, and I treat every home with the same level of care I would expect for my own. I’m always happy to arrange a quick meet & greet beforehand, so both you and your pet can feel comfortable and confident before the booking. During each stay, I provide regular updates and photos so you always know your pet is safe, settled, and well looked after.

I have several years of experience caring for both dogs and cats in their own homes, often looking after multiple pets at the same time while maintaining each of their individual routines. I have cared for a variety of cat breeds including Maine Coons, Ragdolls, and Persians, as well as a range of dog breeds such as Retrievers, Spaniels, Borzois, Dalmatians, Australian Shepherds, Bulldogs, and Dachshunds. Having owned Australian Shepherds myself, I’m particularly familiar with high-energy dogs that benefit from structure, consistency, and regular exercise. I’m confident adapting my approach depending on the pet – whether that means structured walks and activity for dogs or creating a calm, low-stress environment for cats. I take the time to understand each animal’s personality, routine, and specific needs to ensure they feel safe and settled while you are away. In addition, I have experience looking after other animals including chickens, rabbits, small rodents, and birds, and I’m comfortable managing a range of responsibilities within one household. I understand how important it is to keep routines consistent, especially in multi-pet homes, and I ensure each animal receives the right level of attention, exercise, and space. My experience includes feeding routines, litter maintenance, dog walking, playtime, and administering basic medication as needed. I am also comfortable managing households where pets have different schedules or requirements. Sarah did a fantastic job looking after our active golden retriever boy Sandy. Sandy got plenty of excercise with Sarah and the weather conditions were very challenging (+30c!) SArah ensured Sandy was well and hydrated throughout the period.
Sarah has been looking after our dalmatian, Indiana, since October 2022. She has come to stay at our house and care for Indiana at least once a year, more often 2 or 3 times per year, since her first visit. Indiana is usually very nervous around strangers but she took to Sarah immediately and Sarah is one of very few people who can come into our house without being barked at! I cannot imagine anyone else looking after Indiana, Sarah just has a certain knack with her. Sarah respects our house each time she stays and looks after everything for us, we have no concerns about leaving her to stay alone when we go away. We have grown close to Sarah over the years and she is like a member of the family now, always welcome to come to stay whether we are here or not. I cannot praise her highly enough and would highly recommend anyone looking for a friendly, trust-worthy dog-sitter to book Sarah!

We honestly cannot recommend Sarah highly enough — if Rover allowed it, we would give her 6 out of 5 stars without hesitation. Over the years, Sarah has taken care of our beloved Ragdolls Koji, Kiera, Noya, and Bella. We always had three cats at a time, and she cared for them through every stage of life — from young kittens to senior cats with special needs. Our precious Koji lived to the wonderful age of 17 before he passed away two years ago, and Sarah cared for him with incredible patience, gentleness, and compassion during his senior years. Today, she continues to look after Kiera and Noya, who are both 6 years old, as well as our youngest, Bella, who is now 2. Ragdolls are not low-maintenance cats. They require special attention, especially when it comes to their fur care, emotional needs, routines, and overall well-being. Sarah has always gone above and beyond to make sure each of our cats received exactly the care and attention they needed. She administered medication reliably and carefully, monitored their health and behavior closely, and always made us feel completely at ease while we were away. What truly makes Sarah extraordinary is not only her professionalism and reliability, but the genuine love and dedication she has for animals. It is very clear that she treats every pet as if they were her own family. Coming home after a trip, our cats were always calm, happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable with her presence — which says everything.
