Safety, trust & environment

I have three friendly dogs one being a senior, however for safety reasons my personal dogs will be separated for the duration of the stay aside from walks (: unless otherwise requested. All dogs will be kept inside in the air conditioned/heated home, however I have a fenced yard and park across the street for lots of supervised play, fetch or just sniffs! Whatever your pup enjoys! I have a kiddy pool for some fun with water! I offer baths, walks and training for boarding or day care dogs!

Information Sarah H. would like to know about your pet

Having worked at a vet, at a boarding facility/dog daycare, and as a trainer I am capable of taking in a variety of dogs but do need to know any red flag behaviors, as well as any silly quirks, to keep your pets and myself safe, but also to keep them as comfortable and happy as possible! Red flags include (but not limited to) things like: -areas they don’t like/can’t be pet -if they can’t be picked up -any health issues physical or medical -any food or toy possession (human/dogs) -allergies -past injuries

A typical day

I enjoy giving dogs a balanced day, that normally looks like a good breakfast followed by some supervised potty and leisure time outside, after that I like to either play mentally stimulating games, toy play, or small training sessions depending on the dog and owners preference. After that I find it’s good to create a calm zone for rest and cuddles in the hottest part of the day. If we didn’t do walks in the morning I typically like to aim for an evening walk before or after dinner.

Sarah was absolutely amazing with Apollo. Her communication was excellent the entire time, which gave us so much peace of mind. Even though we missed him so much and talked about him constantly while he was away, we never worried because we felt like he was in very good hands. Apollo really liked Sarah right away, and that meant a lot to us. Not only did she take great care of him while we were gone, but she is incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many helpful tips with us. We’ve had Apollo since he was five months old, and walking him has always been a challenge for us. Sarah took the time to explain things, offer guidance, and share techniques that have made a huge difference. Thanks to her advice and help, walking Apollo is so much better now. Apollo is still very much a puppy, even though he’s a big boy, and he still has a lot of learning to do. We really appreciated how understanding and supportive Sarah was with him. We’re always a little leery about people watching him or being around him because big dogs are often put into a box, but Sarah never did that. She truly understood that he’s still learning, that we’re actively training him, and that we’re doing our best. Her calm approach and compassion meant so much to us. Sarah was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about Apollo. We are so grateful for her and would absolutely trust her with him again. Highly recommend!

Sarah was a delight and we did our walk as a "meet and greet" (which was my preference!) And Luna was in amazing hands. Sarah was patient and Luna was happy to get some treats along the way. They made a good team and it's always nice to find a good match. 😃

Sarah does a great job watching our dog, she and Alex are our first choice for a sitter. It's always a bummer when you can't bring your pets with you but they keep us updated with pics, short videos and info about our dog's stay. Thanks again!
