A friend to every animal
Hi, I'm Sarah, your local full-time petsitter! I've been a volunteer at a no-kill animal shelter since 2013. I've handled animals of every size and disposition with love and care in my time volunteering. I've been pet sitting independently since 2017, starting with a household of nine amazing fur and feather babies . I've worked with senior animals and those with special needs, caring for their unique physical and emotional needs when their parents are away. I've had practice giving medications orally, in-ear, subcutaneous injections, and am capable of following detailed instructions. I've been pet sitting through Rover since 2020, and I've also photographed pets professionally for several years, having worked with many different types of animals with patience and care. Besides all that, I was a cat mom for seventeen years and loved every second of it. CATS ARE WELCOME TO EVERY SERVICE I PROVIDE. I only book one family at a time, so there are no conflicts with other animals. I've always had an affinity for caring for animals and will always do my best to make sure they are comfortable, healthy, and happy. UPDATE for 2022: At this time I am no longer accepting new boarding appointments. I have however kept boarding open as an option so that new clients can find me. I know some families are skeptical of having someone come and stay at their home, but I find this is the best option for the welfare of the animals. If you are looking to board, but would be open to housesitting, please read my reviews (mostly gained from housesitting) and get in touch so we can set up a meet and greet. I look forward to hearing from you! DROP-IN Requests can be scheduled for up to 2 hours at the listed rate. Please message me with the details of your request if you would like longer than the standard 30 minutes. Notice of rate increase: As of February 1, 2025, single pet rates will be increasing from $65 to $70 in order to keep up with inflation. Multi-pet rates and drop-ins will remain the same. Sarah is absolutely fantastic! Our original sitter canceled leaving us scrambling to find someone for a holiday weekend. Sarah quickly responded and scheduled a meet and greet, and agreed to the booking. Sarah asked thorough questions and made notes of important info, which left us feeling comfortable with her staying in our apartment and with Rex. During our vacation, Sarah sent plenty of updates and pictures, and when our return flight was delayed and at risk of being canceled, Sarah volunteered to help with Rex if we did get stuck. Fortunately, we were able to get home, but knowing we had support in case we got stuck made the situation so much easier. Sarah also took great care of our place. I highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a professional, caring pet sitter!
We really were so pleased with Sarah-I cannot even tell you what amazing care she gave our two buns and bearded dragon-it really made our time away so relaxed to know how well cared for all three of them were.She was in contact everyday with pics and info on their daily health-if I could give her more than 5 stars I would!❤️
We had another excellent experience with Sarah. Our dog has some medical issues and she handled them perfectly. I’m so grateful that she was able to notice immediately that something was out of the ordinary and she knew exactly what to do. She also handled a very stressed dog mom checking in more frequently and was always very responsive to my check ins. It’s always hard to be away when something concerning comes up but I felt better knowing our boy was in good hands and receiving great care.
We had another great experience with Sarah. She was responsive and took great care of our dog as well as our home. She went above and beyond and we look forward to having her stay again.
Sarah is truly an angel right here on earth. Our Oliver clearly loves her as much as we do and seems to say "ok, you can leave again, I'm in good hands " 😂😂when we get home. She is always on time, goes the extra mile...the house is perfect when we get home. Today we got home and found the driveway and sidewalk shoveled!!!! Truly above and beyond! I hesitate to leave this review as we are worried she will book up.wnd won't be available when we need her...but we couldn't NOT share how amazing she is. You can tell she absolutely loves animals. We love her as much as Oliver does.
Sarah spent a cold snowy weekend with our pup Max. Not only did she give her kind caring attention to him, she also shoveled our driveway, and collected our mail and packages. We love when Sarah comes to watch Max, it keeps him happy and healthy while we are away!

Zeitplan
Since early 2020, I have made petsitting my full time career. I typically take one client at a time in order to provide the best care possible for animals that may struggle with separation anxiety or have set routines that their parents would prefer they keep while away. When I take a job caring for an animal, they become my priority.

When I sit for a client in their home, their pet's environment, I dedicate the utmost respect to privacy and personal space. It's my job to care for an animal and I do that by observing their behavior, fulfilling their needs, and offering affection to the degree they are comfortable with; whether that's waiting for a shy animal to come to me for a sniff or to be pet, or an animal which has no concept of personal space at all (not an issue for me, I love cuddlers!). As for your home, I love to have a tour during meet and greets and get to know what rooms are accessible to me as a guest. I am very respectful of other people's homes and belongings and will always ask first if there's something I can't find or unplanned that I need to access during my stay. I pride myself on being trustworthy and tidy.

I love going for walks myself, but walks are always better with puppy company. I am young and have energy to play or just chill out and give pets and cuddles.
