At this time, my availability is mostly weekdays after 5 pm. I work a standard 9-5 M-F, and do not have very flexible weekend availability unfortunately.

When visiting a pet in a client’s home, I always make sure that the pet has their needs met and I always like to be in contact with the owner in case I need to notify them about something regarding their pet. Once the pet has their needs met and if they seem to be comfortable with my presence, I will spend some time with them and play for a bit so they can get some energy out and have some socialization time.

A typical day
A typical day with a dog looks different for each visit, some dogs like to relax and other dogs like to take the time to play! I am flexible with the way in which I care for pets, as I understand that each one has their own unique preferences. Generally, I try to get their basic needs met first, like potty breaks and feeding. If they need time to hang out with me before that, I will do whatever they need to feel comfortable with my presence. After their needs are met, I will play with them if they initiate it and I will sit with them and give them some pets and love! If a dog does not want to sit with me, I’ll stay with them at a distance so they’re not alone, but they’re not overwhelmed by me trying to get close to them.

I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 14 years old. I have experience with pet sitting, dog walking, and check-ins for pets and I make sure that they always receive the most loving and thorough care. I have grown up with dogs since I was a baby, so I am very familiar with their behaviors and how to properly care for them.
