I asked for a dog for Christmas every single year while I was growing up. My dad had his reasons, so the next best thing was to walk my neighbors Pomeranian (named Snuggles), which I did aaaaalllll the time. In college, I would dog sit for my coach here and there. My brother has a golden retriever that I have spent a lot of time with. And recently, I had my first experience of having my own dog. Technically it was my roommates dog, but I loved her like she was mine. I would take her on walks just because and when my roommate was out of the country for 2 weeks, I was the dog auntie.
