Making Dogs Smile ♥️
I've grown up with many family dogs/ cats throughout the years. I currently have two cats that I spoil everyday, Finn and Toby. They love cuddles, cat nip toys, fuzzy blankets, and meal time. I have experience in hand raising a newborn kitten, requiring frequent feedings, toileting, medication administration, and monitoring. He is now thriving and living his best little life with his new owner! I cannot imagine a household without a furry friend to come home to. Loving on, cuddling, and caring for animals is an absolute joy to me!

Sarah was wonderful with my senior dog Boots. She was so patient, kind and gentle, which put not only Boots but me at ease as well. You can immediately sense her love for animals, and provided Boots with creature comforts while she was there for the day. I would recommend Sarah with absolutely no hesitation.
We were so lucky to have Sarah taking care of our dog (Chief). We met Sarah ahead of time and we were certain she would be a great person because she is calm and able to manage Chief well. While we were away, Sarah brought our dog to dog parks, and kept us informed about Chief. We recommend Sarah strongly.
Sarah had took care of Sandy for couple of times. She sent us photos every day with detailed information. I highly recommend Sarah.
Sarah went the extra mile in caring for Daisy. She made a visit to the vet on short notice, administered medication, adjusted Daisy’s diet and gracefully dealt with some incontinence issues arising from a uti, anxiousness and advancing age. Top notch care.

You won’t find a more considerate, compassionate and delightful sitter than Sarah! She carefully listens and diligently draws up a plan to ensure your furry family members have the best of time of their lives in your absence under her care. Very prompt with her communications and provides regular updates that include pictures and detailed descriptions. She’s centrally located near walking trails and ensures your pet gets more than enough physical and intellectual stimulation. There is so much more to share but suffice is to say I could not more highly recommend her! Thank you, Sarah!!!

I am an early riser and lucky enough to have the flexibility in my work schedule/ personal life - availability for bathroom breaks/ walks whenever necessary.

Safety, trust & environment
Apartment is puppy proofed to the best of my ability. All cleaning supplies and food are locked away safe. No (real) plants within reach. Approximately 500 sq indoor space + 200 sq fenced in private terrace. This allows for safe and supervised outdoor playtime. You are welcome to bring your dog's own food/ water bowls, toys, blankets, etc. Whatever items make your dog/ you feel most comfortable. However, I do also provide, should you wish: food/ water bowls, toys, and cozy blankets. *Please provide appropriate leash, harness, crate – whatever your dog uses on a daily basis. I understand how unnerving it can be leaving your beloved dog with someone new. Therefore, I am happy to update often with pictures, videos, text messages, and/ or detailed daily stories; whatever helps you feel most at ease while away.

A typical day
A typical day includes: multiple walks throughout the day – longer walks at both morning and evening, trail walks along the Ottawa river, nearby park adventures, and walks throughout quiet neighborhood side streets. Please feel free to provide your dog's specific schedule; I will try to adhere to it as much as possible, in order to ensure a seamless transition. Trust that your doggo will be happily tired when they arrive back home, as the fun just doesn’t stop! … And why should it?! They’re on vacation too! :)
