I used to be a dog bather for several grooming salons. Neighbors and friends trust and love my help with their cats or dogs when they go away. I have done pet sitting both in home and in owners’ homes. My care experience includes feeding, watering, walking, cleaning up after, brushing and just keeping company with cats and dogs. We have a medium sized neutered male dog of our own who is friendly, even indifferent, towards other dogs and 4 kids who love and respect animals. I am also more than happy to come to you and appreciate specific instructions on how you best prefer your animal cared for in order to give you and your pet exactly what is wanted/needed.

We have booked Sarah a few times to keep an eye on our 2 cats, Nala & Coco, while away. She has done a great job everytime and will continue to look for her when in need of a sitter.
Sarah is amazing with our four dogs. She comes to our house and is so consistent and dependable for them: it gives us peace of mind when we are away!
I would give Sarah 100 stars if I could; she is so amazing! Miles stayed with her two years ago when I went to scatter my parents ashes in England, and he came home so happy and calm. So when I had a very intensive training, and conference this weekend in Baltimore, I knew he would be in wonderful hands! When I arrived on Thursday he immediately jumped on the couch with their dog, who he clearly recognized! Sarah as before was very welcoming, and one of her three daughters was there to pet him; and did so, so gently! According to her husband, who was there when we picked Miles up, the two dogs were inseparable the whole weekend. Again Miles came home so calm and happy! I feel so blessed to have found Sarah! To know that I can trust that my eleven year old dog will be happy and safe when I am away, means everything to me! I absolutely recommend Sarah and her family! I cannot imagine a happier, and safer place to be!
Sarah was great with Nala & Coco while we were away. We did not need to worry about babies being in good hands as they were well taken care of.

Schedule
I currently have my own cleaning service and am committed to just a few days a week of work, otherwise I am at stay at home, homeschool mom who is home most of the time aside from that. I am available some weekends each month.

Safety, trust & environment
I prefer specific instructions on what your expectations are for your pet’s care. I am willing to crate dogs in my own home, as well as facilitating crating your dog in your home as requested. I live in a very walkable area. I am willing to clean up any accidents or litter boxes in your home. I am very careful to have dogs leashed securely before even opening doors (I’ve had an escape artist dog in the past). I am flexible on how long dogs need to be walked. I own a small cleaning service and therefore am trusted in many peoples homes and businesses on a very regular basis.
