Hi, I'm Sarah! I've been a trusted 5-star Rover sitter for nearly 10 years but dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember! Now that I have a pup of my own, I understand just how important it is to find someone you can trust. While I love spending time with dogs, their safety and well-being always come first. Whether we're on a walk, at home, or around other dogs, I'm attentive to their individual needs and make thoughtful decisions to keep them safe and comfortable. I've cared for dogs of all personalities. From shy, fearful pups who need time to build trust, to reactive dogs who require patience and confidence, to happy-go-lucky companions who are just excited to make a new friend. Sarah was a great dog sitter. We did an overnight trial before this weeklong stay. She sent daily updates and photos of Chloe, who seemed to be enjoying herself immensely, spending two full days at Central Park roaming around. Chloe had some diarrhea during her stay, and Sarah shared what was going on and we modified Chloe's diet to stabilize her. Would recommend her as a dog sitter.

Schedule
I currently work a part-time full remote job so I am very flexible for timing. For boarding stays, that also means that someone is home 99% of the time!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a spacious 1,400 sq. ft. apartment in a quiet, walkable neighborhood that's perfect for daily walks. My dog, Zinnia, is friendly, well-socialized, and great at reading other dogs' cues—she knows when to play and when to give space. All interactions are supervised and dogs are never left alone together. If your pup enjoys adventures, I'm happy to take them to the beach, dog park, or other outings with your approval. Zinnia also hates walks so if they require walks they will get me all to themselves!

Happy to do whatever they're used to or what they enjoy! Whether that's lots of outings and playtime or spending the time relaxing at home.
