I am a home maker and a volunteer at Lynchburg Centra Hospital. I also do pet-sitting when you need it, so my schedule is fairly flexible, and I take last minute jobs.

I always do a free in-home consultation with prospective pet owners. I have a list of questions including any special needs your pet has, and how they are to be feed, and what type of play they like the most. I also ask for contact information for you and your vet.
A typical day
With cats we play with all sorts of your toys. I find string and the wand toy to be the most popular. With dogs I can throw tennis balls, run around the yard with them and provide plenty of belly rubs.

Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting for 20 years, and have cared for pets of all kinds. I provide daily or occasional visits. I will feed/water per your instructions, provide playtime and brushing, monitor home security; altering lighting, change of blinds, and drapes; bring in packages and newspapers, rotate trash and recycling bins, and provide daily reports and pictures of your pet. I also will water plants and feed outside birds. With me, you are getting the full package of services! The only service I do not provide is walking dogs. You must have a fenced in yard if the doggy is to be taken outside.
