I will keep your pets happy!
I offer focused one-on-one care tailored to your pet's individual needs. It's a joy for me to be with animals and I think they respond well to that feeling. Your pet's wellbeing and safety is my top priority. I bring along my pet nanny tote full of treats, toys, puzzles, first aid supplies and even calming pet music! I can also offer gentle Reiki healing to a pet that is extra nervous or has separation anxiety. Rest assured your bestie will be in good hands with me! 💗Currently I cannot care for dogs over 50 lbs. 🐕 On walks I'll reinforce your dog's training with positive reinforcement and treats. I've helped improve many clients' leash reactivity. During our meet & greet we would review what cues your dog knows and responds best to. 🏠 Currently I can offer overnight stays for up to 4 nights maximum at your home. 🐇 Care for any additional pets is offered with house sitting and drop-in visits. I have experience with many different types of animals such as chickens, rabbits, fish, rodents, birds, horses and more! Working with animals has been a life long passion. When I was a kid I took our family dogs through dog training courses in 4-H and even did a little showing with one of our Labradors. Later in life, living in places that didn't allow dogs, I kept a connection with them by dog sitting for friends and dog walking at PAWS animal shelter in Lynnwood, WA. Through this I learned to work with many different breeds of dogs including how to calm them when they were stressed. Currently I live with 1 adopted rescue cat, Smokey, and 2 parakeets, Smurf & Sunny. I've enjoyed giving homes to numerous rescue kitties through the years.

Safety, trust & environment
A few safety points: I'm very careful entering and leaving your home so your pets stay inside, where they are safe. I keep dogs leashed when outside of your home or fenced yard. I don't visit off-leash dog parks since it's too unpredictable. If we're walking at night I use lights and reflective gear for extra visibility. And I keep a pet first aid kit in my car at all times. 🐾 I am licensed and insured with my company Sunshine Pet Care LLC, and pet first aid certified and Advanced Reiki certified. We loved having Sarah watch our three cats! She was very communicative and quick to respond, and she got all three of them (even the shy one) to eat and socialize. She is friendly and had such a great energy. We will definitely book with her again!
Sarah took wonderful care of my dog Lotte while I traveled for four days. She was attentive, reliable, and caring, and I was able to enjoy my trip with absolutely no guilt about leaving Lotte in her care.
Sarah was absolutely amazing with my senior dog. I had not left her for such an extended time, and as a 14-year-old lab she definitely had some issues not being with her mom. Sarah was incredibly patient caring and kind with the her- her level of care was over the top. I would highly recommend her and it would rebook with her in a heartbeat.
Sarah was amazing! Spent a lot of time with them despite a holiday weekend! I was stressed but at ease after first day:). Sooooooo good with our dogs!!!! Definitely using Sarah on next vacations:))))

Schedule
⏱️ I work part-time remotely as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator so I'm able to be flexible with my schedule and can be with your pet for much of the day. 🏠 Overnight stays in your home covers a 24 hour period. Typically I won't leave pets home alone for more than 5 hours. Shorter windows of time can be planned for if needed.
