I will not be able to have pets in my own home but I am more than happy to stay with them in their own home. I am very clean and always make sure to leave a house just a nice as I found it. I respect all rules set by owners and make sure that their pets are safe at all times. I am happy to stay overnight with them and make sure they are as comfortable as possible!

It is important to know when and how much they eat, if they have any medications or other special needs, how they do with other pets (in the house or in public places) as well as how they are on the leash. It’s important to know their age and breed and general energy level so that I know how much physical activity they need. It’s also good to know what the house rules are (are they allowed on the couch, do they sleep in a crate, are some rooms off limits, etc).
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks to get their energy out or playing with toys if they enjoy that! I am also happy to work with them on commands (especially if you have a puppy you’re training). I like to keep them engaged so I am happy to take them to the park or anywhere else they may like to go. I love rewarding good behavior with treats (if approved by the owner)! And of course, I always love to spend lots of time just giving them love and attention.

Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of dogs (also cats, horses, chickens, and goats) since I can remember! I’m currently 24 and have worked extensively with dogs at my day job. (2+ years experience working in dog boarding facilities and daycare centers & 6+ years volunteer experience in pounds and shelters) This has given lots of experience with all breeds and ages. It has also helped me develop a deep understanding of dog behavior and their needs. I can administer medication and provide ample to care to older dogs as well as puppies. I’ve had many people I know as well as people I don’t rely on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets, always with happy results :) You can count on me to care for your pets because I will value them as if they were my own and make sure all their needs are met. I’ve grown up loving all animals and love to make them feel happy and safe when their owners are away.

I highly recommend Sarah for pet sitting and dog walking. I have a nearly 90 lb, high-energy dog who I would not trust with many people due to his size, energy level, and the fact that I am an obnoxious "dog mom" who treats him like her first-born child (he is). I knew he would be safe and happy with Sarah while I was away for the weekend. I never worried about him getting a lower level of care without me at home, and was able to to enjoy my time away knowing she was taking excellent care of him.
My girlfriend and I had been trying to find someone to pet sit for us for weeks, and all of a sudden, we found Sarah! I had never left my dogs with someone I didn't know well, but Sarah made us feel so comfortable. She sent us updates, and spent lots of time with our doggos over the course of the three days we were gone! She has lots of prior animal experience, so she knows how to handle any situation. Our dogs loved her and so do we! We will definitely be booking her again.
