Highlights
Pet care experience
Always a farm kid at heart.
I have been around animals all my life. Grew up on a farm & helped with the horses, chickens, cows, cats, dogs. Currently training a bernedoodle, Dunkin, for the Southern Wisconsin Therapy Dog Association. Dunkin will visit nursing homes, student centers with autistic and special ability facilities, some medical facilities based on needs. If you ask family & friends, they’ll tell you that I cannot pass any animal without affectionately acknowledging them. And only if the animal is willing, I will give lots of love. I genuinely enjoy animals far more than people. ;) I have taken multiple levels of dog training courses. I also enjoy riding the family horse, Apache, in my free time.

Safety, trust & environment
In client’s homes, I would use whichever method they prefer. If they leash potty an animal, I will do that. If animal runs in fenced in yard, I will stand in yard & wait. If they have a special request for animal, I will discuss with client if I am capable of said request.
Ratings and reviews
Sarah is awesome with pets. When he had recently adopted a 2 year old lab with issues, Sarah gladly took him in and kept him along with our geriatric lab. Needless to say they were a lot. Between one food guarding and the other being a partially blind diabetic, Sarah was great! I knew they were being loved and cared off just like I would! I wish she was closer to be able to help with the crazy brood we currently have!! Highly recommend!!!
I believe she has genuine compassion for animals. Personally, I feel she is trustworthy & dependable. She has taken care of my dog, Gibbs, several times. He's always excited to see her, greeting her with his lovable hugs. She follows all the care instructions for him and I never have to worry. Would highly recommend her for care, playtime, and walks
We have 3 dogs, with 3 very distinct personalities! One of the greatest things about Sarah is how she meets each dog in their place!!! She is soft, and slow with Delaney who can be temperamental. She is strong and stern with Blue, who is stubborn and bullheaded. Lastly, she is so playful and energetic with Maggie, a Golden Retriever puppy!!! It’s so fun to see how excited the dogs get when Sarah shows up! We have the utmost trust in her when our furbabies are in her care!!!

- I think knowing a dog’s general routine is important for their comfort while being introduced to a new person to care for their needs. Do they have specific commands/words that they respond to? Are there areas of their body that they do not like to be touched. Do they have a potty ritual that needs to be taken into consideration?
