I typically work an 8 hour day, 5 days a week but when I am not working I enjoy spending time with friends and family. Many of my friends have pets that we enjoy taking out for socialization or even just for some much needed fresh air and play time.
A typical day
I have a lovely yard that your pup can run around in and play with deer or the neighborhood cat named Milo. Outside Columbia, there is a beautiful trail that I like to hike with friends and their pets when the weather is nice. The trail has a pond and plenty of space for a dog to run and play.

Hello! My name is Sarah and I am an animal science major at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and I love getting to work with a variety of animals. Not only did I grow up on a farm with cattle, pigs, turkeys, dogs, and cats, I also have three years of experience working with more exotic animals at a science and animal camp. I have had the pleasure of working with llamas, snakes, emus, and my favorite animal, the ring-tailed lemur. At camp we have over 100 different species of animals. I would love the opportunity to work with and get to know all of your furry, or not so furry, friends. I signed up to work for Rover to earn an extra income to save for graduate school which I plan to attend next fall. I currently work full time during the week, however I am local to Columbia and have a substantial break during the day if I would need to let any pets out. Weekends for me are completely free and I would love to watch your furry companions if you need a weekend getaway. In my home I have the ability to put gates up on my stairs as well as space for a kennel if necessary. I like to take morning and evening walks around my neighborhood and have plenty of toys to keep your pet entertained.

Sarah was amazing with our two dogs. The puppy can be a bit needy at times but Sarah did so well. She gave them lots of love and playtime they’d forgot we had even left! She kept us updated with pictures and stuck to the feeding schedule we gave her. We will definitely use her (if she’s available) the next time we go out of town. Sarah, if you’re reading this, Thank you for taking such good care of our pups!
Sarah has always been dependable and displayed quality animal care. She is experienced with animals from her family background in animal agriculture and her schooling and employment and displays a true passion for providing quality experiences. Sarah is always willing to help on short notice, communicates well, and is very much appreciated.
Sarah did an awesome job watching our Cooper! She gave him plenty of walking time and made sure he had everything he needed. She was great at keeping in contact with us through his stay too. Will book Sarah again!
