Safety, trust & environment

Your dog🐶 and cat🐯 deserve special attention to their specific personality and health. Our pets are individuals. We can sometimes predict the behaviour of certain breeds, but they always have their own personality based on their experiences with their environment. I offer loose-leash walks and training support services. I'm not certified as a trainer or behaviour consultant but I do understand quite a bit from studying and hands-on practice and experience working as an Assistant Trainer in group Puppy and Teen Dog classes as well as Interning as an Assistance Dog Trainer I am currently working on a Practitioner Certification for Tellington TTouch which combines gentle bodywork with loose leash handling techniques, equipment and ground work (a multi-sensory experience). It is a proven method to bring dogs into balance physically through movement and activating the cells in their nervous system. Dogs who lack confidence and behave aggressively out of fear benefit greatly from these exercises.

Pet care experience

It's tough to find good reliable pet care for your precious fur babies. When I was in Vancouver 15 years ago with my Lab Samoyed, Bubba, I had a tough time too! This is why I am committed to working with you and your pets to create a safe space where you both are empowered in confidence instead of anxious and afraid. My intention is always for you to have peace of mind when you can't be with them. I have been a full-time pet care provider since Jan 2018. I started in South Delta, moving in Jan 2023 to Abbotsford, Mission and Chilliwack. Studying animal behaviour, and relating it to your pets and assistance dogs is so satisfying I can't stop! Every day I look forward to meeting new pet families who appreciate building deeper relationships with their pets. PS> If my rates seem too much for you right now please reach out and let me know. I am open to creative solutions such as combining bookings with neighbours to bring the cost down… that sort of thing. Please please message me to ask what I’m willing to accept before scrolling to the less expensive option. JUST SO YOU KNOW: My pricing is now streamlined to take into account what I’ve learned working with you, pet families, in Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack. Sarah was amazing. She sent lots of pictures and kept me updated the whole time. She left the house tidy and kept the dogs exercised and entertained. Really grateful to have found a responsible pet sitter I can trust! Thank you so much :)

Sarah kept us up to date with Mushu. The house was clean and tidy when we got home. Sarah even left lights on outside and inside which was very welcoming. Thanks again and a job well done. Definitely will ask Sarah again the next time we go away.
