Hi there! I’m 24 and a proud pet parent to one very cuddly cat. I’ve grown up around animals and have always been the go-to friend for dog and cat sitting, as spending time with pets truly brightens my day! I love hiking and being outdoors with furry companions, but I’m just as happy staying in for playtime and cuddles 🐾 I tailor every walk and visit to each pet’s needs, whether that means a calm neighbourhood stroll, trail adventure, or extra playtime at home. I have experience with senior pets, foster dogs, larger breeds who pull, and dogs who can be a bit reactive or need extra patience. I’m currently attending university, so while I stay as flexible as possible, bookings will need to fit around my daytime classes. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority!

I’m currently working toward my BSc in Geoscience at VIU and looking for something fun and rewarding to do around my classes and caring for pets is the perfect way to get me outside and away from the classroom! I work remotely as a child care administrator, which gives me a lot of flexibility during the week. While I’m not available all day for house sitting during school days, I’m happy to fit in walks, drop-in visits, and even last-minute bookings when my schedule allows.

Safety is a top priority and I double-check doors, gates, and leashes, and make sure pets are supervised and relaxed. I treat every home with respect and keep owners updated with messages and photos, so you can feel confident your pet is happy and cared for. 🐾

A typical day with your pet depends on their needs and personality! I believe a healthy dog is an active dog, so walks and playtime are a big part of the day. Whether it’s tug-of-war, ball toss, chasing around the yard, or exploring a favorite trail, I’m always up for fun that keeps them happy and healthy. I love learning the routes you normally take so dogs feel familiar and comfortable, but I also use an app to find nearby trails that are away from busy streets and traffic when possible. Between outings, I focus on cuddles, treats, and attention tailored to your pet’s individual needs. I always follow your instructions closely and make sure your furry friend feels safe, loved, and cared for throughout the day.
