Comforting and playful care
Since joining Rover in 2017 I have sat for 20+ families! Before discovering Rover, my love for animals and reliability have made me the go-to sitter for friends and colleagues. I grew up helping foster animals and caring for family pets. That, as well as experience in property management has made house-sitting and pet-sitting natural work for me. I have cared for dogs large and small, in addition to cats, birds, fish, and other small critters! I am always learning more about animal behavior and training as I have a heartfelt passion for our furry friends. I know how pets are truly a part of your family, and will treat your loved ones with the utmost kindness and respect. I am happy to provide whatever care works best for you, and make your pets’ well-being my highest priority. I can maintain any training they are learning, and provide warmth and affection to comfort while you’re away. I presently cannot care for pets in my home. When I am visiting your home or walking your dog, they will be secure at all times. I will check fences and play areas, and keep dogs leashed on all walks. If your pets and home require specific safety precautions, I accommodate to the best of my ability. At the end of an overnight stay, I try to leave a clean environment. I am happy to respect any health & safety requirements of your household.

When I am caring for pets in their home, I try to follow their familiar routines as closely as I can. Whatever the client requests that I can comply with, I stick to! If I can't meet the request, I communicate that quickly and clearly and work toward alternatives.

Schedule
I'm working part time, but 3-4 weekdays are usually open in availability for drop-ins and walks! My schedule changes from week to week, but on my scheduled days I am happy to accommodate evening visits.

- It's good for me to know where the pets can go, if they have any medical needs, what I can do to make them comfortable. It helps to know if they are up to date on shots, if they are fixed, their temperament, if they are leash trained, what words they respond to, if they are reactive, if they have allergies of any kind. It's also great to know their favorite treats and toys!
