With experience in a dog shelter, pet sitting, and caring for my own animals, I’ve worked with pets needing extra care—whether it’s a cat with health challenges, a senior dog needing gentle attention, a playful puppy, or a shelter animal with a unique personality. I also studied animal behavior both on campus and abroad for my BA, contributing to a thorough understanding of pet behavior and individual needs. I take a patient, tailored approach to make every pet feel comfortable and loved.

When caring for pets in their home, I prioritize their comfort and routine. I make sure to follow any specific instructions for feeding, exercise, and medications, while providing lots of attention, love, and playtime. I keep the home clean and secure, respecting the owner’s space, and ensure that the pet feels at ease in their familiar environment.

Amazing sitter! Very communicative and follows instruction very well. She spent a little extra time with our kitties because of all the medications one of them has. We are very appreciative!

Sarah D. has been wonderful in caring for our pups and home while we travel. The relatively new dogs are still learning about their new surroundings and Sarah has been a huge help in their growth. Having someone as competent as Sara looking after our dogs is a great comfort during our travels.
Sarah did a great job house sitting with my fur baby. She kept to his schedule, made sure he got his walks, and was comfortable at home. She communicated updates regularly which I appreciated. The house was clean when I returned. I would definitely book with Sarah again!
