Sarah and her partner were so lovely. We felt so happy leaving Arnie with them for the night. She sent us a picture and gave a few updates which was really nice. Definitely would recommend them as sitters. Really lovely people ❣️

We can’t thank Sarah and John enough for looking after our clumber spaniel whilst we were attending a friend’s wedding in Shepton Mallet. Sarah and John were so helpful and kind and immediately made Humphrey feel relaxed and happy. Their other animals, a lovely dog and cat, made Humphrey feel one of the family in their lovely home . They took Humphrey on lovely walks in the surrounding fields which he obviously really enjoyed . We could tell how Humphrey was happy, and settled in very comfortably for the day and night. We had regular contact and were able to enjoy the wedding celebrations. We would not hesitate to use Sarah and John looking after Humphrey again if we required support - and would highly recommend them to other folk requiring someone to look after their dogs.
John & Sarah looked after our two Golden Retrievers when they were puppies and I am convinced the dogs love them more than us. Charlie and Lola (dogs) get so excited when they know they are going for a visit and head off without so much as a goodbye to us. They have long walks, cuddles and play time!! I highly recommend John & Sarah as pet sitters, as do Charlie & Lola!

Schedule
My partner and I both work from home. We have a dog and cat of our own so are already hands on with looking after them. Having your pet stay with us, they'll be treated like one of our family

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust are my top priorities whenever I care for pets, whether in my home or in a pet owner’s home. I make sure the environment is safe, comfortable, and suited to each pet’s needs. In a pet owner’s home, I respect their space and follow their instructions closely to keep routines consistent—everything from feeding schedules and exercise to favorite toys and cozy spots. I double-check that doors, gates, and fences are secure, and I provide regular updates with photos so owners feel at ease. If I’m hosting in my own home, I create a safe and welcoming space by removing hazards, ensuring plenty of fresh water, and providing enrichment through walks, playtime, and cuddle time. I keep a close eye on behavior and body language, and I’m comfortable adjusting the environment to reduce stress or overstimulation. No matter the setting, I treat each pet with patience, compassion, and the same care I’d want for my own.

A typical day
My partner and I both work from home. We have a cocker spaniel named Fiadh that needs walking regularly. We take her on a lunch and evening walk around the fields surrounding our house or additional if needed
