Hi! . My name is Sarah and I am originally from Scotland, although I relocated here from the Caribbean in 2017. I am a huge animal lover, I grew up with working dogs, and am experienced at fostering rescue cats and dogs. My involvement with an animal charity has left me able to handle stressed or anxious animals. I had a 19lb rescued beach dog who I brought with me from the Caribbean, she sadly passed this year and the house is very empty without her. So we are without a dog at home for the moment and I’d love to take care of your dog and shower him or her with all the affection and attention they need while you are away. I am available for all types of pet care and sitting. I live in a big house right by the mountain in St Bruno, in a very quiet street, with a fenced back yard and love to walk through the park everyday. I am flexible to accommodate your individual pets needs. I can do basic grooming and administer medication, pick up poop, and have basic dog training skills as well as first aid. I also have lots of experience with small pets, birds, fish and some reptiles.

I run a non-profit animal rescue (PAW BVI) in the British Virgin Islands so I deal with animals on a daily basis. I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough. She used to be a volunteer with PAW BVI and fostered many animals when she lived in BVI. Sarah has nursed many extremely sick puppies back to health (including some who had parvo and tick fever and were basically on death's doorstep) so she would be the perfect person if your pet needs medication or extra special treatment. She is great with all animals - dogs/cats/bunnies etc. She is responsible and would never let you or your pet down. She will look after your babies as though they are her own!
I think Sarah is quite a dependable person. She is an animal lover and they love her back! She definitely has a way with them, is knowledgeable and compassionate. She has extensive experience, is gentle and very sensitive to every animal’s specific need. Leaving your pets in the care of a stranger can be cause for concern but with Sarah you can rest assured that your pet will get the best care and attention with her professional and attentive demeanor.

Schedule
I am currently working from my office and therefore not available for pet sitting Monday to Friday - with exceptions for public holidays and vacations.

I have a fenced yard and give free access to my home. I offer two walks daily, one around my neighbourhood and one through the park.
A typical day
Our morning walk route was around my neighbourhood. It's a traffic calmed area and we rarely meet cars but the dogs stay leashed throughout. Once we get home we have free running time in the yard, with balls and toys. The second walk is later in the day when the park is quiet and cool.
