Pet care experience

I am a full time, independently insured, professional pet care provider with a special interest in the care of reactive and fearful dogs. I have a strong background in dog rescue as my parents fostered puppy mill dogs throughout my entire childhood, and as an adult I continued volunteering as a transporter. I am not a trainer, but my unique upbringing has given me the skills necessary to keep fearful and reactive dogs safe. It can be difficult to find care for a dog when they aren't social with other dogs or strangers, and finding a calm and patient handler that can identify limits and manage potential triggers can be just as hard. I have a passion for ensuring your pups are comfortable and cared for in the comfort of their own home, all the while giving you regular updates and photos for your own peace of mind. My life with rescue dogs has also exposed me to various medical conditions. I am comfortable administering insulin, getting picky pups to take pills, and changing bandages (or helping you do any of the above), and I also have a variety of tricks up my sleeve to keep dogs occupied and content during surgical recovery. Deaf, blind, and "fewer-limbed" dogs are also welcome on my schedule! I am up-to-date on canine first aid and CPR and take every opportunity to further my education in canine behavior and enrichment through the IAABC so I can provide the best care while you're away.

Thank you Sarah for taking care of Willow like she was yours! The photos of her during her walks show how happy she is.

Willow had another great walk with Sarah today! She stopped at McDonalds and Willow was treated with apple slices and had a cushy car ride with a fan blowing on her! Sarah is the best!

Sarah is the best dog walker, my girl Willow, loves going for walks with her. Sarah takes Willow on field trips, where they go on longer walks together. I know that Willow is in good hands!

My Willow took an immediate loving to Sarah! I tell her before I leave that Sarah is coming to see her and she gets all excited. Willow loves her walks with Sarah!
