Hello! My name is Sarah, and I have been pet-sitting for about 8 years now. I love all animals, but before you consider requesting me, please read below before sending anything out for my services. I have a pup, Lylah, who is a Siberian husky mix under 50 pounds. When I stay the night at clients' places or need to stay somewhere for long hours, I do require bringing her with me. We can do introductions beforehand to make sure they get along, but it is a nonnegotiable term and something to consider. I bring everything with me: a crate for her to sleep in, her own food to eat, etc. She is very well-trained and well-behaved and loves to play with other dogs and is even familiar with cats, as I have a few. So please consider that before requesting me. Another consideration is that I do work a job that requires me to have the ability to access the internet, and I need to plug into the router for my work. If it's during the week, I will need to work as scheduled if you need me to do overnight stays. It honestly brings me joy to take care of dogs and cats alike. To be honest, I love animals more than I do people, and because of that, I find that spending time with animals is almost like a calming agent of sorts. I also love to take photos of the animals I sit with, so when I am usually done with a request, I will send the photos I have taken to the owners so that they can have them for life. Even the moments you might not be there for. I love to capture expressions, movement, and just general curiosity in animals. My preferred method of watching pets is to stay overnight just because they get more attention, and I can be there in case something does happen to them. I provide extra care around the home as well and clean up after myself the day before, or the day I leave. I believe the owners should come back from vacation to a clean home, not a messy one.
